The "documents" Trump's lawyers failed to provide was literally any evidence of their claims. Eye witness testimony is not evidence.

Well I think he was being cheeky.

But here's the problem as I see it:

The Trump administration hasn't offered evidence of any voter fraud. None. They are currently sitting 0-14 in terms of lawsuits found in their favor. They are offering a hodgepodge of bullshit demands, from stopping the vote in areas where trump is ahead, and to immediately recount in areas where trump has lost, all while seeking to take away ballots from left leaning counties.

On top of that, you have Trump and a good segment of the right wing media outright claiming that Trump has won the election and that it is being stolen from him. That's a pretty serious charge. And they've done fuck all to substantiate it. If you think I'm wrong, by all means post a link to the most damaging proof of fraud you've seen. I don't think we should celebrate such blatant attempts at sowing doubt in our elections.

And fuck, Trump isn't even clear what he wants. Some of those states that ended really close, like AZ and GA, will likely have recounts as a matter of law. Others, he can request a recount and pay for it out of his own funds. Wisconsin allows this option, but Trump hasn't put up the money yet.

This whole thing just reeks of an administration spiraling down the shitter and being too scared to just admit it's over. The shitty thing is they could do real damage here. Not just in terms of undermining our democratic ideals (and that shouldn't be taken lightly), but in terms of personal harm as well. This kinda language can push the nutjobs over the edge. Hell, the same media egging this on are the ones that convince guys to storm of fucking pizza place with an over-modded AR and popping off rounds in order to save the enslaved child sex slaves democrats were hiding in the basement. We're already at peak stupid in this country. We don't need a president, butthurt over not being reelected, adding fuel to the fire.

If Trump wants to actual put forward evidence of fraud, then stop talking and fucking do it. We aren't getting that. Instead we're getting TV rants and rage tweets with no details of actual fraud, and some of the dumbest lawsuits I've ever seen filed. Seriously, go read them. The rulings for the judge are just brutally again this administrations lawyers.

Is it enough to get enough votes for Trump? Probably not but Trump and everyone has the right to make sure the votes were legal. In Dec we will get the electoral votes in and some things can change if they find some real damning evidence... Of course there is a few here and there examples of illegal votes or dead people voting but those isn't enough to over turn the election. I don't see how any damage can be done by this going to courts. Al Gore's month long fight didn't damage anything. It will be worse if people say there was no fraud and move on, it's better to let it play out and prove the votes, that's my opinion.

I am back in the states thanks for asking I am trying to go back to Afghanistan I think I will go work with special forces out there. We will see I hope everything is good your way bro. Sure they'll stop any of the wacky fantasy shit like impeaching judges and packing courts, but I'm sure at least one of the wishy washy current Republicans like Romney, Sasse, Flake, Collins, etc would break ranks for reasonable legislation like the upcoming stimulus which for some reason Trump wanted Biden to have all the credit for.

Might even get one of them to cross the aisle for health care reform. They only need one or even none depending on how the GA runoff goes.

Yea I understand that the way this one swung were election night looked like Trump was winning with the trend and then overnight Biden was up and some credible voter fraud or illegal vote accusations being in play could change some things. in Michigan alone 131 affidavits were filed for investigation. I think if they investigate every credible accusation in the swing states it still won't be enough for Trump but his voters will have a peace of mind and know the election was fair. This is helpful to bring people together. It's not like Biden can get into the white house next week either so where's the harm in spending time investigating?
