Lee Moriarty has held this championship for a year and a half. I couldn't tell you a single one of his defenses until right now. I say this as a fan of Lee Moriarty.

Wish ROH wasn't just AEW Dark with titles and made me want to watch it outside of the occasional PPV.

Heard WBD offered Khan a tv deal for ROH, but he turned it down because it wasn't good enough.

I mean, no shit the offer was bad. ROH is terrible, outside of a few matches every few months, typically with no build, they have nothing going for them. Best thing Khan can do is put it on Youtube and out from behind a paywall. No one is going to pay for something that has no audience.

Yeah apparently WBD offered them $10-15 million per year to put ROH on TruTV late last year, Tony Khan turned it down for ROH, but took it for a Dynamite re-run in the same Friday night time slot.

He also turned down The CW for an ROH show in late 2023, which led to The CW getting a deal with NXT instead.

Wonder what the hold up really is, they definitely ain't making $10-$15 million with Honor Club.

Netflix is buying Warner Bros Television studios, Warner Bros Motion Picture studios, DC Studios, HBO, and HBO Max as well as film and TV libraries.

TV stations like CNN, TBS, TNT, Discovery, TNT Sports, Discovery+, and Bleacher Report aren't being bought and has spun into a new company called Global Networks.

AEW might still be safe on TNT and TBS for now. No idea how much Global Networks is going to spend on things like AEW in the future though.

AEW might've dodged a bullet with Netflix winning cause Paramount was trying to buy everything, including the assets under Global Networks.
