It literally can't go worse than the first two.To be honest, I'm pretty happy to get a third shot of watching Punk trying to fight. I need a good laugh.

I'm confused about why they're showing the footage. I've heard it's to build to the FTR/Bucks match at the ppv. To an AEW audience, this is a total babyface move, so are the Bucks dropping the heel EVP thing? Were FTR involved in the footage?
It will presumably pop a rating, but so what? A one off rating is not a solid strategy to turn things around. This to me seems like a desperate act of a failing company. Desperation booking after a long decline that has not been dealt with even close to competently.
I am ambivalent about Jack Perry. He's probably not good enough for the role he's going to be put in as a result of this.
It can, Jack Perry is not a trained mma fighter. It literally can't go worse than the first two.
Even then, tony only fired him once he pulled his shot on him?I'm guessing Punk did something to TK as he stated he feared for his life.

The real glass remark might’ve transformed his career. No one took him seriously as a heel until nowBelieve it or not his run in New Japan has been really good. The guy really needed that recharge somewhere else. I've been one to make fun of Jungleboi as much as the next guy, but his run in Japan actually has me liking him more. It's been great matches and solid promos. I'm actually looking forward to his match in Chicago for New Japan's big show there on Friday to see his HEAT in Chicago.
They're definitely not above being petty, but they know how to do it. This is a dumb move that is coming way too late, and does nothing for AEW(although I'm sure their army of 10,000 marks will declare a victory of some kind). This is something you do to clear the air a week or two after the big incident took place. It's a sad state of affairs, when you're promoting a show on the back of bashing a guy who is no longer there, all because you felt slighted in an interview many months after said incident.Ariel pushed the question on Cody and Josh Barnett of all people (who worked Wrestledream) and quickly changed the subject when they weren't fitting his narrative.
The Ariel/Punk interview wasn't the only anti-AEW messaging throughout the week by WWE.
Also, WWE should have bashed AEW during their biggest most profitable week ever. Its good business. They've slaughtered Tony Khan's reputation on social media. Its smart.
I just like the idea, that WWE, who has played tricks on their competitors for 40 years. Wouldn't be petty enough to coordinate an attack on their #1 competitor.
This is the same company that put clauses in numerous buildings in 2021 that AEW couldn't run them until WWE ran them in the calender year. Which delayed AEW from running Scotiabank Arena until 2023.
I can only guess that it's gonna be some shitty security cam footage you can barely make out, with The Young Bucks creating whatever narrative they want to.Correct me if I'm wrong about any of this.
We've only heard Punk's side of this. His word is that, after an earlier disagreement between him and Perry about using glass in a segment, Perry used glass at All In. When he came back from the ring, he and Punk had words. Perry said something to the effect of, "what are you going to do about it". Then Punk grabbed him, they scuffed, Punk gets some kind of choke, then Joe tells him to let go. They separate and Punk goes back to his locker room.
So what will the tape show?
Either 1) it all goes down just as Punk said. His reputation is solidified, AEW look like fools. Not likely they'd go this route.
2) It shows Punk as a clear aggressor, shouting down his statements and damaging his credibility. Much more likely, but it'll look better if they don't try to embellish anything.
3) It's some kind of reenactment, in which case AEW's credibility is shit from here on out.
Did I miss anything?
How hard will he celebrate with Toni?

I think so, yeah.@GoldenAzazel are you going to be here tonight?
He was on Kenny's stream recently with Riho too.
Fucking geek killing the business.
Whatever makes people happy
Since I'll be watching Dynamite either way, I just hope we get to see Samoa Joe telling him/them to calm the fuck down.
At least Kenny takes the time to squeeze in some lifting in between his dork shit.
