Dana went on Sportsnet Canada and said that "Conor McGregor will fight again this year, but his opponent, return date and weight class have not been confirmed at this time"

His "announcement" was not confirmed with the UFC apparently still.

Anyone else not shocked? Should Chandler just move on?

Anyone want to speculate on what the hold up is, and why conman would make an announcement like he did apparently without the UFC having any knowledge?

Whole thing seems weird to me. If wants to fight then why wouldn't they let him? Is it a drug testing issue, or maybe a contract issue? Maybe he really doesn't want fight, but just wants to make it seem like the UFC is holding him back.
