Hard to say. I don't know that the dog was abused!? Maybe undersocilized or completely scared of environment.
But definitely could be abused but in my experiences abused dogs are sometimes basically "shut down" fearful which can be either keeping distance or have fear aggression.


Hard to say but it's really nice to see him come around and it looked like he came around quickly. It's so weird but for a country with so many dog and cat lovers there's a lot of cruel injustices they have to endure.

Hope with each generation we improve and evolve and treat animals better.

look at the position of the dogs tail, it is tucked in, almost touching his belly, this is the position of the most scared and... wimpiest?(not being mean) dog in the world.

The tail will tell you everything.

If you see a tail in this position, something is really really really fucked up

it often works surprisingly well at calming a dog down

actually covering an animals eyes in general does, thats why they put hoods on hawks. it decreases the amount of stimuli theyre receiving
