Social Abby Shapiro "Classically Abby"

EDKUJJgWkAA0vwP.jpg

Abby Shapiro, the sister of conservative talking head Ben Shapiro, has recently made her entrance into social media starting her own YouTube channel sometime last year. Originally it was all pretty benign stuff like beauty tips, etc. But recently this summer she made a big pivot into conservative politics and her videos simultaneously started appearing on everyone's front page.

The reason I bring this up is because it seems like the rise of her channel directly contradicts the conservative narrative that is championed by so many great ring wing intellectuals on this forum. That being conservative voices are intentionally suppressed by groups like YouTube.

Turns out the direct opposite is taking place. YouTube is forcing Abby Shapiro down our throats by altering their front page algorithms thanks to large amounts of cash from her big brother. Despite having at the time having a measly 30-40,000 followers she was consistently appearing on the front page for weeks. Many people are claiming that they're specifically reporting or choosing to ignore her channel but are still getting her videos forced into their front page.

A quick look at her video page and the trend is obvious. The majority of her videos get less than 30K, or even less than 10K views, but certain videos, the ones forced on us, have exponentially more. (And fuck loads of dislikes)

Despite the majority of her videos getting disliked at a rate of 2:1 or more, the videos still appeared in front pages of millions of users for weeks.

What's everyone think of this?

Some examples.

Now this is the video release directly before the one above.

This narrative is so convincingly true that me, a Conservative and avid Youtube watcher, didn't even know this woman existed until this thread. Checkmate, Atheists.

I'm not the one complaining. Users all over the internet have been complaining.

You literally made a thread to complain about it.

I didn't watch any of her videos till today. I saw someone mention it and decided to dig through her channel a bit and it's pretty obvious dude.

So in actuality what happened was you heard somebody talk about it, got triggered, went home and searched her videos on Youtube to further trigger yourself and in the process triggered the algorithm which is now feeding you more videos it thinks you like. Because that's what it is designed to do. You're once again outing yourself as overly emotional and kind of retarded.

You're not a conservative, just a moron.

Channel blocker extensions were made for this.

Does YouTube only have one advertiser at a time? I notice they will spam the same ad at me for a month straight. Television does not do this

Ok let's have a frank discussion.

You ever heard of Destiny?

Major twitch streamer...played games but the last year or so decided to shift his content into politics.

He's center left. He talks quick, like Ben and has debated a few low key names like Laura Southern but he more recently argued with this guy named Vaush who's VERY far left regarding the Kyle Rittenhouse thing.

It's a pretty fucked up counter argument that Vaush had towards Kyle and an insight to how dumb the fucking FAR left is even for a centrist Like Destiny. But anyways...

Destiny is now leaving twitch as a direct result to complaints over things he said during that debate. And his reaction to this was and I quote "I need to have a more center right or right leaning audience..."

The reason? His explination;

"Left leaning audience have far too much corporate power right now."

Meaning that, he's come to experience that he could say the most outragious and offensive statements regarding right leaning political figures, and while his conservative audience may try to ban him or get the videos taken down or the like...nothing will happen. But if he says anything simular regarding left leaning figures, action happens.

Now I'm not big on twitch but what I see here is a guy who's center left...so I would call him a bit more sane and reasonable on talking about positions...who's made it his life and world to dive into streaming and making videos and producing politcal content having come to the conclusion that he needs a right leaning audience because lefties wield too much power and are too sensative

Oh and would definetly Smash Ben's sister...

The highlight of this for me is that there are very few Conservatives who have any idea who she is, in a thread that is about how she is being jammed down our throats.

I am fully aware of the Destiny situation and he's just coping.

What he said that got him banned was way over the line. He wasn't banned for the Vaush debate, but for something he said talking to someone else after it.

It sucks, but that's just him trying to blame anyone but himself because of his massive e-celebrity ego.

He also isn't leaving or getting banned from Twitch, but departnered, which is bad, but not the same thing.

A moron who understands how Youtube works.

Clearly you don't understand the premise of the thread because it isn't that she's just getting recommended based on your searches, but literally placed there regardless of your search history and even if you block/ignore her channel.

So you not knowing about it perfectly demonstrates the point I was making. She was forced onto the front page of millions of users.

Which is supported by the fact that none of the Conservatives who haven't searched for her on Youtube know who she is, while you, the dude who searched for her on YT, does. We understand your premise. We reject it because it's demonstrably wrong. I understand that's hard for you.

Except for me and nearly every other Conservative in here. Excellent argument backed up by reality. She wasn't "forced onto your front page". You searched for her videos, you said so yourself. Then youtube did what it was designed to do. Cry harder.

Officer Tatum? The guy who said Ahmaud Arbery deserved to get killed? Lol at listening to that hack.
Attacking armed men earns the Darwin award tbh
Now should they have even detained him? No, it wasn't their business.

No she clearly was, just look at her metrics.

Some of her videos were clearly forced and have inflated metrics, while others perform very poor.

Yet here we sit, not having heard of her until this thread.
