Doesn't youtube let people pay to advertise their content?Hmm, I wonder who's paying?
I wonder why
Isn't the most likely answer just the Shapiro's are paying for advertisements of the channel?

As far as the OP I doubt its Ben paying for her. There are conservative orgs out that that will invest in channels and social media influencers like this if they think they can get a platform going and espouse the right talking points and Abby is a perfect candidate;
Your friend needs to be sent to the gulagI have a friend who is a fan, far lefty socialist type who sends me some of his videos. Can't say I'm a big fan, I can never sit through more than a few minutes of these political streamers. Most of them don't seem much smarter than I am if at all, if you want 50 minutes of my attention you better be smarter than me. My favorite thing is the Canti avatar, everything else after the intro is downhill.
She's an opera singer so if anything her voice might be one of her redeeming qualities.
The video isn’t her but there are some quality pics.Well there goes my afternoon, sigh...

This is 100% true. The Hodge twins are a perfect example.
They had several YouTube channels and for years were pretty successful in the fitness/bodybuilding community. They had a crap ton of content and exactly zero of it was even slightly political.
Then one day, they turned into raging, frothing right-wingers. They'd make your average Sherfronter reevaluate his views. Not just your regular, meathead "Bro, wtf these feminists are stupid, man" shit. No, suddenly they had an opinion on every topic and they're ultra right on every topic.
Their first line on this vid: Hey Mexico, how's diversity working out for ya??
That's right, the two black guys who are both married to Mexican women are ridiculing diversity.
Aside from these two idiots' shocking lack of spine, it's also abundantly clear that conservative organizations bought them out. And they definitely paid big bucks because these guys already had a big following.

I wish he'd consume some higher brow content, problem is that's not what the algorithms favor. These political streamers get popular because they can churn out long form content daily which tends to be viewed for an extended period of time and that's the kind of content that the YT algorithms privilege.
I was vaguely aware of them when they were figures in bodybuilding and then recently I see them crop up as the right wing content creators. At first I was confused, thought that maybe they just resembled those bodybuilding twins but no, that's actually them. Makes sense though, bodybuilding seems like a community ripe for right wing talking points.
I really don't like this wave of astroturfed right wing online content creators, almost makes me miss the unsavory ones who crawled out of the seediest corners of the internet. Almost...

Abby Shapiro, the sister of conservative talking head Ben Shapiro, has recently made her entrance into social media starting her own YouTube channel sometime last year. Originally it was all pretty benign stuff like beauty tips, etc. But recently this summer she made a big pivot into conservative politics and her videos simultaneously started appearing on everyone's front page.
The reason I bring this up is because it seems like the rise of her channel directly contradicts the conservative narrative that is championed by so many great ring wing intellectuals on this forum. That being conservative voices are intentionally suppressed by groups like YouTube.
Turns out the direct opposite is taking place. YouTube is forcing Abby Shapiro down our throats by altering their front page algorithms thanks to large amounts of cash from her big brother. Despite having at the time having a measly 30-40,000 followers she was consistently appearing on the front page for weeks. Many people are claiming that they're specifically reporting or choosing to ignore her channel but are still getting her videos forced into their front page.
A quick look at her video page and the trend is obvious. The majority of her videos get less than 30K, or even less than 10K views, but certain videos, the ones forced on us, have exponentially more. (And fuck loads of dislikes)
Despite the majority of her videos getting disliked at a rate of 2:1 or more, the videos still appeared in front pages of millions of users for weeks.
What's everyone think of this?
Some examples.

Now this is the video release directly before the one above.

Nice big Ol' Milkers.
I hadn't heard of her until this thread and I don't think the popularity of her channel is evidence there isn't censorship going on.
Also, wood. Nice tits.
