News Aaron Pico is now a free agent.

was there watching the debut and it was quite a shocker. Still, he's still so young, has probably good 6-7 years at a high level.
Agreed , would be a good signing for the ufc

Pico also hasn’t beat anyone near the Top 100 lol. Bellator did the opposite of developing him, they started him fast then fed him a steady diet of cans as a veteran.

I think a Contender Series offer is the best the UFC can do for this guy, he’s probably used to making an exorbitant sum beating bottom of the barrel guys. Bring him back down to earth and make him work his way up.
His last opponent was 83rd at the time they fought and was top 50 prior to a split decision.

Sometimes you just have to go with the eyeballs test instead of strength of schedule.

He'll be like chandler if he comes to the ufc - beat guys he's supposed but fall short when it matters (against the top guys). But probably get KO'd more.

*Him vs Ilia would be fireworks because Ilia gets hit and Aaron can crack and is just as fast.

Remember when he signed with Bellator back in the day and Scott Coker was acting like he just acquired Thanos , and then the catastrophe it was when he lost his debut to some job guy , those were good times
That was insanely stupid booking by bellator the dude he fought was like 8-1 at the time and had fought for the RFA title against Thiago Moises.

Not seen much of this guy, any fight recommendations?

Doubt I’ll be a fan if Ali is managing him though.

He'll be a solid top-15 guy if he goes to the UFC. Throw him against someone like David Onama to start out.

He'd probably make decent money so the UFC will throw him right in.

There are some great matchups for him against other grapplers that he can strike with: Bryce Mitchell, Emmett (I'd be nervous as fuck for Pico in that one), Evloev, Aljo.

I always root for Pico, it would be an epic redemption arc if he could be successful in the UFC.

Based off what lol, the only fight he's lost in the last 5 and a half years was due to injury.

nice, I guess I stopped watching after he got KOed twice in a row

looks to be on a nice streak now, and he's 28, this is the time to get into the UFC, not later

Dude is chinny but I think he can still be top 10, would love to see him in the UFC.

Agree, the chin means he can't have some long run most likely. But if given high profile fights due to popularity I think he has the power and ability to upset literally anyone on any given night.

Ufc can get him at a favorable price. It's a low risk high reward signing

Freeman was known as a part-time fighter around here even then. Incredibly kind the few times I've ran into him, but Bellator punished him for winning that fight.
