The Palestine issue can't be fixed. Most of the world knows that. Israel has bent over backwards trying to give them a state only to have it rejected. Israel was able to make peace with Egypt, including ceding large amounts of territory they had conquered in the Sinai, so they have a history of just what you are asking from them toward Palestine. The inability to make peace comes from the Palestinian side and always has.
But even if one disagreed, the unreasonable focus on one vulnerable nation that has spent most of its existence under attack and asking them to adhere to the highest standards of behavior, while their neighbors systematically render their states judenrein is so absurd to be inexplicable by reason.
We should lobby our Congressmen/Senators to push for a realistic and safe peace deal. Anyone who values our allies and the safety and future of the Jewish people could not possibly support giving all of the West Bank to the Palestinians when it has been proven that doing that is dangerous.
Palestinians need to be transported to a new state ideally in Jordan. That is the only way the violence and constant terror that Israel faces can stop. Or at the least Palestinians can have the Jordan valley and parts of Eastern Judea and the rest of their state can be in Jordan.
So you accept that West Bank is conquered, yet dont recognize Palestinians as full citizens of Israel.
Thats literally Apartheid, so why would a liberal support a country which has second class citizens with limited rights?
Do you seriously think Israel can be safe and free from danger if Palestinians get all of the West Bank?
U.S. Generals in the 1960's did not even think that. They realized that Israel needs to control Western Samaria
