Not a hater at all and I said he would never fight Ngannou. Figured if Ngannou left they would put him against Stipe but props to Jones for fighting Gane. I think Ngannou amd Blaydes are much wprse matchups for him tho. Gane has very little power and got outwrestled by Ngannou.

Gane got taken down 4x by Ngannou. Right now his tdd sits at 55%. Alexander Volkov has 71% tdd and got taken down 14 times by Blaydes. Also Blaydes went for 25 takedown attempts with Volkov... I feel like Blaydes would get Gane down and likely keep him there if they ever fight.

Also another thing, why are so many people pretending Gane has ko power? Gane tko's the odd slow 1 dimensional heavyweight like Lewis and Tai by having much better striking and higher volume. Tai dropped him tho. Tai and Lewis are like walking punching bags that sometimes hit back and if they land they have big power. Jones is a better striker than anybody Gane has faced and also a better wrestler. Gane hasn't even faced a wrestler yet.

Gane is less proven than Bisping, just saying. In both cases they aren't the scariest guys the divisions had to offer. In Bispings case he was always looked at as a gatekeeper but Gane just has a handful of fights and hasn't fought any wrestlers.

And he could have done that without hijacking and stalling a division.

Instead he chose to move up to HW while Francis was the HW Champion.

That's weird, cuz I thought Jon chose to move up when Cain was champion, and then just dragged his feet for a decade.

He didn't have to do that especially at the end of his career.

Its an interesting situation with MMA that those who define themselves as "not pro wrestling fans" seem to have more of a pro wrestling fan mindset, basically they want to go along with UFC hype and "follow the story" they lay out.
