I’ve heard she’s actually pretty solid as a person but this makes little sense outside of being loyal to Trump.

Her husband has all sorts of allegations of abuse, including sexual abuse, harassment, human trafficking, etc. Trump probably sees her sticking by Vince and thinks "She's a very honorable woman. She'll stick by me too."

I’m torn kind of, between a feeling of “welp, this is what the country voted for, so let this bitch burn,” and also a belief that an idea like “fuck the minorities, and it’s ok because this is what we voted for” can never be acceptable to me. And make no mistake, we are going to hear that.
I can never be ok with awful shit just because it’s happening to “them.” But I’m not even convinced that it will just be them.

Yep. This is one of the priorities of project 2025. Siphon off as much money from public education to private schools, while making sure they're not accountable for accepting students like public schools are. But hey, that's what you get when the people in charge of public education under republicans are literal billionaires.
