There has been alot of dicussion around here about "geared" and "GEARED" lifting. Heres my feelings on using gear in the gym such as sleeves and wraps.

Shirts w sleeves are not.proper gym attire. How are the ladies going to see your gunzors.
Knee sleeves and elbow sleeves show weakness to the females. Gloves and straps show them you will have soft supple hands when you touch their babymaker. Wrist wraps are acceptable since they look sort of like bracelets and chicks dig jewelry. Lifting belts are a must since they define your waist and make your lats pop. I almost forgot knee wraps, they are acceptable since you draw great attention from the females while putting them on. Zombie walking to the rack and the lifting what appears to be to them a large heavy weight. They also can make your calves look larger which is a huge bonus

I feel so strongly about this I added this to my first post of this log.

Lot of.back today. Tried some.squats in warm up. Meh. Kb swings are getting better. About 45 minutes minus warmup.

Today was rough and followed last deads session to the t. First pulls were OK. Second pulls were slow. Open belt at set 5. Closed on first holes for last set. Had to go pick up some Christmas so I didn't do assistance. I was using a lot of back today, although I got a little pump but there is no discomfort. I'm not sure how doable even this progression is, even though on paper it shouldn't be that rough. 385 is just shy of 85% and today was 17 reps. I'm leaning toward trying to hit 20 reps with this weight before I move on to something else or adjust the weight. If I go up in weight it will only be 10lbs not 20 like this jump. I need to pull some heavy singles soon but I'm not sure how to fit it in and still get this kind of volume. Might have to do singles then squat then triples/doubles the squat.

Also yesterday at sundown signalled the start of Chanukah and I did have Latkes this mornign before lifting. This will signal the addition of our jewish freinds to my party.
