91-1

For sure. What percentage of your career totals those "on the way up" fighters make up is the point of contention. When you reference 4 guys who are all 40-50%, it puts a bloated number like that in perspective imo. It's impressive as fuck, regardless. As mentioned, Abdulmanap created and refined a system that has dominated much of the lower weight classes in many MMA orgs. Problem is how long these guys will stay around, and how that translates to long term "greatness". Having 14 fights in the premier orgs just isn't going to cut it when predecessors (say Igor as an example) fought 30 scrubs then 30 in the bigs.
If they were all 15-0 it would still be impressive tbf sir.
Igor fought in an era where fighting all the time was the norm, and now more and more fighters avg 1-2 fights a year.

Igor in the early days was fighting 2-3 times a night.
I prefer the old way, but unfortunately the game isn't played the same way anymore...which is infuriating to say the least.

Im old though wtf do I know lol

That's not what my posts was about though, I was simply saying everyone fights shitty fighters in the beginning sir.
Not everyone. GSP fought Ivan Menjivar in his debut. Rampage fought Mike Pyle.

Aaaaaaaanyway.

The combined record of Team Abdulmanap is very impressive. They are a legendary group of fighters. I am merely putting the lofty record in context.

If I went through and arbitrarily eliminated all the fights I considered padding, it would still probably be like 60-1 or more. I just think the 91-1 is misleading.

I was exaggerating for comic effect in my initial shitpost.

Guru is literally a sherdog Chad. We thought he was short, he's 6'4. We thought he was fat, he's jacked. We thought he was hiding thinning hair beneath a beanie....it's a lions mane.

HE REALLY PULLED THE WOOL OVER OUR EYES

No matter your opinions or thoughts on any of these guys.

You gotta respect those numbers!

What a crazy achievement by Abdulmanap - raised a village of warriors.

Sadly he ignored just one thing and thus they will always be known as Muppets instead.Muppets-Now-0c065ce.jpg
What a cruel world we live in!
One hairdresser and those fools would have taken over the world.
Maybe I should start a thread about it?
Nah I will save that for the weekend.

Nah, he's a whiny bitch who has never satisfied a woman sexually

Oh, what a bummer. I liked you better when you were capping on these overrated neckbeards that fought a bunch of bums. I can't think of a single neckbeard I like, especially not MMA Guru.

I try to keep them honest.

about 70 of those wins are against absolute nobodies
Did you ever go to smaller promotions? Yes the talent is less, but it is never easy. You have some freaks, no real testing, different conditions, no information about your opponent. There are so many things. Fighting (mma) is one of the hardest things to do, also at a lower level.

Their records are no doubt padded by cans but there’s also no denying he has had incredible results with his coaching, especially considering the modest roots of their camp and training methods.

The truth lies in the middle. I think a lot of it is that it’s hard to find too guys to face on these small promotions. Whatever. Rip.

UFC Champions (one Bellator) with multiple defenses and near perfect records are now overrated?

You just ran to the other side of the retard scale lol

Ares has a point that early competition wasn't tough for Khabib particularly, but if these guys are overrated then what does that make the elite UFC fighters that they dominated?
