Sounds like a whole lot of excuses. His record is padded. You cannot tell me that an 0-2 guy was the best opponent they could find. It is shameful matchmaking and no reputable athletic commission would sanction it.

Because he competed in tournaments... After beating the bums, he fought and beat some of the best talent Dagestan had at the time. Eldarov, Shambulaev, and Bagov were successful amateurs with similar combat experience as Khabib. They even went on to have successful careers themselves. Bagov became ACA LW champ and has a win over Vartanyan, Shambulaev competed for Bellator LW title, Eldarov is a successful coach of KHK

Whats interesting is that after he beat Bagov, his competition got easier at ProFC lol. MMA was like a wild west over there, records werent an accurate indicator of skill.
