Opinion 52% of Americans see China has the biggest threat to the US

I would assume the rest are not sure or listed other countries. Russia and Iran also have double digit negative views.

Here is the Poll results from the Regan Defense Survey. Skip to Page 9 for: the greatest threat to the US.

Some on the Alt-Right see America as the biggest threat.
these polls are a joke, the fact that Muh russia was ahead of china in any way proves this.

flavor of the month outrage

Damn, the media, intelligence agencies, big tech and the Dems really had people scuuured of Russia before Covid.

So while Trump was mocked the first 3 years of his presidency for focusing on China....while the media and dems focused on Russia.

Trump may be an asshole, but he sure seemed a whole lot better at spotting threats to America.

He was also right about the media, FBI, CIA, and big tech.

They are not ahead now. China is way way ahead of Russia. Both Pew and the Regan Foundation are finding similar results. It shouldn't be a surprise, considering the pandemic and China's very aggressive behavior.

How could this be when I recently went outside and there were white people just walking around everywhere like its OK?

Sarcasm aside, of course China is our biggest threat. They've infiltrated every corner of our country and we've become dependent on them.

If there are no enemies within, the enemy without can do me no harm.

We are weak. China wouldn’t be a threat if we aren’t fighting ourselves.

it's only a matter of time before the china money machine is back in action and they are in good standing

the media dictates these narratives, china has always been public enemy #1 for me for two decades? public perception is malleable.

Lol at Russia coming in 2nd place. RUSSIA!!!!

The only other reasonable answer would be our own political establishment. Unless by "threats to the US", we're just counting it as the leaders playing a board game using their citizens as game pieces, then CCP is the biggest threat to Chinese people, and the US political establishment is the biggest threat to American people. I could really give a shit which ruling class wins if they're both working against the people of their own country anyway.

While Americans see China as the biggest threat, Russia and Iran came in next at 14 percent and 12 percent respectively, followed by Afghanistan at 5 percent and Iran at 4 percent.

<WhatIsThis>

Is Iran at 12% or 4%? Do we add the 2 numbers together since they were listed twice with 2 different numbers?

The media and government disseminate the narrative to the average American. Who else would the average person get their info from, they aren't going to visit China, Iran or Russia and talk to people there.

American public are easily led, otherwise they would consider Saudi and Pakistan far bigger threats than Iran.

Iran is 4% and NK is 12%. The Hill article has a typo. Look at the graph from the Reagan Foundation.

Clearly, the other 48% haven't been paying attention:rolleyes:

Trump's staffers get banned from China. Biden's staffers go on all expenses paid trips to China to meet with influence groups.

Spot the difference of who is for the American people? lol

Will add this for extra lulz. China bans homo characters and anything metrosexual, and of course Hollywood does not care, despite their woke bullshit

I've been getting some WWII Nazi Germany vibes from China for the last decade or so. It's been ramping up. We're enabled these quacks to get too powerful for their own good. Just to be clear I'm talking about the Chinese government. The CCP. Chinese immigrants I've met in vegas have been cool af people and feel major resentment towards the CCP. I guess if I can summarize their sentiment it would be that things were getting better in China and then in the last couple of decades it made a hard turn for the loss of personal freedom and a more powerful authoritarian government.

I can agree but is what is happening to us in part a result of foreign propaganda?
