Has anyone ever had to pull out of a fight during the event?

Imagine if it was Khamzat vs Leon. The main event is 2 fights away from starting. Leon is backstage warming up and, rip! His ACL tears in half, and he has to pull out of the fight. The main event can't happen now!

Has that ever happened before?

When it does happen one day, how will the UFC deal with it? Can they take a guy that already had 1 fight earlier in the day and put him in for a second fight that evening?

I vaguely remember hearing someone like got injured or hurt before a fight old white fighter like coleman or Ken shamrock back in the day,but I also feel I'm wrong.

I think that’s how Kimbo Slice ended up fighting Seth Petruzelli instead of Ken Shamrock.

Ken got his face cut open while warming up in the locker room and the commission wouldn’t green light him with an open wound.
