Wish Salt was on here I really liked that one and I can't stand Angelina Jolie. I went with Hunger games, Resident Evil, and Rogue one but this was harder than I thought it would be since a lot of them are close.

Really makes you realize how hard they have pushed the whole "girl boss" thing.

I have barely seen anything on that list and I think the ridiculous "she can beat up everyone and win 6 v 1 gunfights where she starts unarmed every single time without ever getting seriously hurt" type of absurdity just makes the entire "girlboss" genre unappealing to me.

Even with Reacher it routinely annoys me that he wins unwinnable fights via plot armor and that character is at least built like a tank and has high level military training and actual live combat experience. (Same for Frank Castle in Punisher)

Out of curiosity I looked up "what percentage of Navy Seals are female" to check myself and see if there really are a bunch of females who are trained killing machines

this is why the grindhouse double feature works. need a bad bitch thatll kick ass? amputate her leg and replace it with a machine gun. how does that work? best you dont ask questions and just have fun. the other female character in death proof is established as a doctor that carries around her special little friends (needles), so she doesn't rely on physical strength to get her through.

in death proof the first batch of girls get absolutely rekt by stuntman mike. it's awesome lmao. but then the second batch of girls, one is a stuntwoman which he doesnt know. so shes able to outmaneuver him on the road, and then it takes all three girls to kick his ass with a lil razzle dazzle.

tbh, male or female, i always find it unbelievable when anybody never takes a bullet with eight guys shooting at them but they shoot all eight guys. or if they get stabbed they just walk it off lol. it's ridiculous. but i know they're just popcorn flicks.

I would like to take the time to thank Jennifer Lawrence for her willingness to do nudity. Red Sparrow was courageous and brave. Her fight scene in No Hard Feelings was fantastic. She has a great body even after motherhood.

Reacher seems to have it in the contract that once per season he fights his way out of a room with 8 men with machine guns while he starts unarmed, alone and tied to a chair.

I can get with a little suspended disbelief for the sake of a story but how do none of the stormtroopers ever hit anything? They have a death star but not a target range for basic training?
I can hit center mass from 7 yards, it's hard to MISS at that range. These dudes are 13 feet away in a hallway hitting the ceiling ... who is dialing in the scopes on these weapons?!?!
