The current Maga movement speaks for itself, literally the dumbest types of people I think I’ve ever seen and we’re talking by the millions , they mostly consist of white Christian males basically just an angry mob with very low IQs that are a cult like base , loyalists to one leader ( very dangerous when you consider ) but they come on all sorts of species ( I have to call them that at this point because the level of delusional thought process is staggering it’s like they are another type of animal ) I’m not even joking ,I live with some so I know what I’m dealing with here first hand .

When someone claims to be MAGA and even worse wears any type of articles promoting it ,to me they’re basically telling everyone how dumb they are and they think ( in their world ) they are super patriots ? In reality they are part of the problem and that’s just one sector of stupid.

This does come off a bit weird and like expectation setting/ hedging. It takes awhile for a presidents impact to do anything to the economy but we could see two major bills in H1 and more importantly the tariffs if imposed would have a faster consequence.

Is this a mild recession or something severe? What is going to cause it?

I think we're due for one. We had like a decade of artificially low interest rates followed by covid + unprecedented spending and yet the market kept chugging along. I guess we'll see what happens.

So I’ve actually said the same thing in the past but the stock market isn’t the real thing to be worried about with these tariffs. If these tariffs go on for too long, it’s going to cause a real depression. Business are going to shut down. The tariffs during his last term were damaging in ways to this day that we don’t really talk about. We have permanently lost export business in farming to Brazil.

I could actually be on board with some of these tariffs if I thought there was a well thought out long term plan behind them. Let’s be real though, you would have to be a fool at this point if you thought this administration was thinking anything through. Furthermore, starting a trade war with the entire world all at once? That’s peak stupidity. They aren’t thinking anything through- it’s just pure arrogance.

Mate, I tell you more. Do you think the only market share america lost to Brazil was farming? Wait to see how would be a competition againt them in the iron based industries.

The whole China took over the Steel market is because they got acces to the cheapest and best quality iron in the world, named, brazilian iron. I dont know if its slave labor but its completely unmatched. If the US tries to match its quality, it will be 5 times more expensive. If it tries to match its price, 5 times worse quality. And now you cant even import that iron from them because you just tarrified it. Its 100% braindead policy
