youre just mad because youre a salty oilers fan that just lost evander kane for a 4th rounder. better load up on that copium son.

on top of that the canucks franchise has more playoff cups and championship wins this year than your oilers - who indeed suck absolutely.

canucks are gonna clear out the division just like they cleared out bojangles colosseum after destroying floridas farm team for the cup. how many championship wins does the oilers franchise have against florida? yeah that's right, suck it hater.

next up bedard & celebrini. we're bringing all the NSWC boys home baby!

Nah, I wanted everyone to beat themselves up after the Avs got de Boer'ed again. Ironically, he got fired which still boggles my mind

Kevyn Adams is the fucking worst. This fucking clown constantly gets fleeced on trades.
Pegula is easily the worst owner in the league and it’s not even debatable,

What'd he do now?

You don't think he should've been fired even after throwing Otter under the bus?

I'm hoping he goes to a team in the east. Sick of Bednar getting outcoached in the playoffs by him.

Not sure what went on behind the scenes. He had to make a call. If he left him and Otter continued to get shelled, he'd be asked why he didn't pull him. Probably didn't help they left him on the bench while Ferraro (?) went through why he was sitting next to him and not on the ice. I'd have sent him far away from the middle of the bench. Send him back to the locker room for a bit if you need to to get him out of the lights.

His other option was to sit him for a few shifts and then put him back in.

Johnny T gets 4 years $4.38 per to stay in Toronto. Not bad really.

New CBA reached between the league and players association. Starting 2026-2027 season, we're getting an 84 game regular season.

Other highlights, according to sources: elimination of player dress code on game days, shortened contract lengths (max seven years for a player re-signing with his own club, six years in free agency), standardization of draft rights expiring when a player is 22, a solution for emergency backup goalies and revised language to fix the long-term injury reserve loophole that allowed teams to sit injured players in the regular season then go over the salary cap when they are activated for the playoffs. (Taken from ESPN).

I think the trade is painful but that Dobson contract could be really good in a couple years

Sucks for Hab fans looking forward to tonight

Tbh they have had quite a lot of drafts to look forward to in recent years, they should be excited for this as well.

Good trade for the Islanders, and good for Montreal to get him under $10 million per year (he also got the 8th year since it was a sign a trade).

I'm thinking NYI trade those to picks (or at least one of them) to move back into the top 4 to take Hagen.
Utah has 4th pick and apparently they approached Isles about Barzal (as did Canucks).
New Isles being active i give him that.

Word is Chicago also wants to move #3.

Package the two Montreal picks and a prospect of some kind and I think that gets it done. Barzal straight up, or with maybe other picks involved with both teams and you'd have something, but I wouldn't want to give up Barzal. That would signal a full on rebuild.

Schaefer, Hagens and next summer they got top 10 pick and 22nd pick. Add Eiserman in the prospect pool.

Barzal is a great player make no mistake but if they get even more prospects/picks alongside those listed, could finish a rebuild in 2 summers.
