You already showed your inexperience with betting by even suggesting an under in an all star game lol. Like I said, it’s good you don’t bet.

<PlusJuan>

Sports gambling is one of the most hilarious rackets there is. It's an industry where overall losers give the companies they lose money to free advertising by being all big lipped when they win (which is usually nothing more than luck that people like to attribute to skill).

It’s an industry that feeds on addiction like any other industry lol. Definitely some luck involved but you have to be smart what you bet on. That’s a skill in itself.

Oh noooo Luka will be on shaqtin a fool

LMAO, well at least he hit the dunk on the play before. He damn near pulled off the second one but his fat ass was too tired to get up that high. <45>

Bench him so he doesn’t get hurt. That’s all the Mavs need right now

Mavs are in a pretty good spot right now, Suns on Thurs. with seed implications in play. If they can come out and extend their win streak then who knows what might happen down the stretch.

I have virtually no respect for sports gamblers and wish they'd all shut up for the most part. If you "are smart", I'm gonna say you would take your money and invest it in systems with proven track record of positive returns like financial investments (even if you don't beat the market, you can expect positive returns), than use it in sports gambling to give to bookies in a game with a proven track record of overall negative returns by definition, and can have negative returns even if you are better than the average participants.

Nothing wrong with sports betting. It’s the degenerate gamblers you are talking about.

I agree nothing wrong with it, like going to a casino - there's entertainment value (though I think at times it could take away from enjoyment of games if you get too nervous about it or get upset about bonehead plays that cause you to lose) from the excitement, but from a financial perspective it's a hilarious industry. And listening to people talk about "their wins" as some sort of genius when they've lost more than they've won in their life gets very tiring.

I agree but to each their own. I don’t give two shits how someone else is doing or if they are winning. Hypothetically I would only care about how I do and if they don’t offer worthwhile advice that could help in any way, then they’re ignored.

Or laughed at for a bad “lock.” This over looking good btw lmao

The whole concept of a lock in a sports gambling context is a joke to anyone with rudimentary understanding of statistics and probabilities. But again, people with good understanding of statistics and probabilities really don't aim for careers in sports gambling. One of my favorite things is at a casino when someone playing roulette has like the piece of paper recording the results all day thinking that's going to help them beat the house.

Gamblers will tell you as soon as they win. Gamblers dont tell you when they lose which is most of the time. Anyone thinking you can make money consistently without losing a lot also are lying to themselves. I bet because its fun but i dont get emotional over it and i dont bet much. A lot of times i bet the minimum wager just to spice it up a bit or give me a reason to root for a team. There is levels to this i know people who bet their rent money and those people you cant help they will always lose it all and you can only watch from the sidelines while they do it to themselves. Cant really stop people making their bed..

Ya, exactly. At my local pub which is kind of a sportsbar (has a lot of televisions), folks really go on and on about what they've bet on and have their cellphones out constantly looking for live odds and at times are blabbing about their elaborate systems and techniques and strategies and for sure they at times are making bets like over $1,000 so they are going to have good days and fun wins. But it's like, take the money you use on sports gambling and invest it and you could probably retire early to some extent.

Of course their "big wins" on their best days they get so excited about are like a tiny little fraction of what a good day in the market would be for me, but I would never say shit about that out loud.

I guess Lillard for MVP. But my MVP is whoever can kill the clock the best... as usual this game is an abomination of the sport.

Edit: Late Tyrese barrage... it's junk time, but the entire game is junk time, so who knows.

211-186
<{cruzshake}>

168 three point attempts in the game lol

Edit: The all-star game MVP has to be the most worthless trophy in basketball. It's like you get to play zero defense, and basically whoever decides to take the most shots and be the most selfish on offense against non-existent defense gets the trophy.
