True. A stereotype that was once rooted in truth but one that has been false for decades. Bostonians loving Paul Pierce and David Ortiz would make for some very unusual racists. That would be like a self-proclaimed vegan eating roast beef every night.

Winning championships means a lot. If Tatum stalls for the next couple years…watch the tide turn…. Hell, Russell won championships and still got his home destroyed..but as you said, a long time ago.

Easy to say in hindsight, at the time of the trade I did not hear one person say that the Mavs should have paid 104 million for Jalen's contract.

Basically everyone was saying that the Knicks overpaid for that contract..

lol @ hindsight. He was eligible for a 4 year 55 million offer prior to his last year and Cuban's cheap ass didn't even bother until it was too late.

I was very vocal about this lol. I said he deserves to be paid the max or whatever large number another team will pay but realistically, the Mavs would not have done it mainly because they thought his mind was made up going to the Knicks with his father on staff and they didn’t want to get into a bidding war.
