I'm actually pretty big on the 76ers even without Embiid. Maxey is legit. Harris has been playing quite well every time I see them recently. Oubre is hot and cold but when hot, those three are pretty damn good IMO. I fully expect them to make the playoffs even if Embiid doesn't play for the rest of the regular season. I definitely don't think they can win a chip without Embiid but I don't think they're a pushover in any regular season game as despite having a crap record without him so far this year I think they will adjust and I have respect for Nick Nurse.
You have more faith in them than I do. I don’t see them doing anything at all in the playoffs and losing to whoever they face in the first round. Embiid makes that team go and the entire offense runs through him. Maxey is most effective when he plays off of Embiid drawing the defense and thrives in a secondary role. Sure he’ll have offensive explosions here and there but having to rely on Oubre and Harris as your other top options won’t bode well for the team.

Glad the Mavs picked up their play and beat a team they have no business losing to.

LOL, they're tanking now as soon as I pumped their tires. =) But I was just saying they'll make the playoffs, not win any series... Especially if they fall in the standings and gotta face Milwaukee or Boston. I am hoping though Embiid makes it back for the playoffs... I really have no idea what an appropriate recovery time would be if he has that knee operation.

BTW, the ESPN analytics had Sixers favored to win before the game started. 54%. Point spread was only 2.5 for Dallas.

They have built such a good record and the East sucks so it’s not a surprise they would make the playoffs unless they completely fall apart. Anything close to .500 and they’ll get in. Hope Embiid makes it back too, sick of seeing only one -two contenders in the East every season.

Jimmy Butthead disagrees. Heat sometimes provide some surprises, like when they eliminated both Boston and Milwaukee from the Yoffs.

The east is shaping up to be a familiar story, the Miami Heat are right where they want to be, in the 8 seed!!!

I count them in the normal 2-3 true contenders. Bucks have been pretenders the last few seasons and with Doc, won’t go far again.

LFG!!!!!!!!!

Remember those 10 games that people actually cared about the Nets

Good effort by the Mavs on the second night of a back to back. Luka with 35/18/9 and Kyrie with 36/2/5.
