If you're referring to Warren and her supporters hypocritically attacking Pete and his supporters on the issue, then I agree and I've already stated as much. If you're referring to something else, then spill it and I'll shoot you straight on it...
Big money hasn't corrupted Warren, which is the main point Pete was making. It's a hollow purity test.

I believe it has and that's part of why Bernie is better on policy and I also believe it played a part in why she has so many Democratic Party insiders in her campaign who are compromising her and getting her to go along with smear campaigns against her friend.

Not sure wtf you're talking about here, especially since the big evil party insiders supposedly got her to smear him well after she turned away from big donors.

Can I just clarify something about that shit?

Context:

Schacht was an extremely relevant guy at the pre-war economic controls of the most infamous regime in modern history. Sure, decidedly less evil than pretty much any party member but hardly a "kind hearted guy". Nobody is suggesting any such thing, he was a banker FFS. Bernie brought up 1930s Germany in a clip and it started a short conversation with you.

There was far more to the Nazis seizing power and securing support of the populace than rabid nationalism and "the blame game". That's how we got there. It is what it is, but as said - and proven - makes for a bit of a triggering subtopic. Hell, I'm (indirectly) dehumanized in one way or another on a virtual daily basis here and keep coming back. This is the War Room, sweeties.

Excellent read. Thank you for sharing. I’ve never even heard of this guy before. I don’t have anything to add and it didn’t come off as you portraying this guy as a good guy imo, just an important guy. Cheers and welcome back.

I think Pete would be a good governor. Hopefully he raised his profile enough to pull it off and the Democratic disadvantage in a red/red-leaning state plus potential homophobia doesn't do him in.

PS - Good to see you posting here again. I remember you from way, way back...
He’s wasn’t even a good mayor

@MVelsor and @jrams bringing some fire to the thread, thanks dudes. A few contributions:

Vinnie Paz is one of my favourite MCs. I remember when Ritual of Battle came out, one of my old friends was doing time and I brought the album with me on a visit.

Onyx isn't talked about as much, used to play a lot of bball to these guys:

A little big pun up in here, love this track:

And a classic. I remember listening to 36 chambers at 16 years old at boarding school, after my roommate brought it. My first introduction to hip hop:

Yeah, well peep this fire @jrams @MVelsor

No :). Loblaw, the Canadian food retailer, best known in the US for their President's Choice label.

I actually know Loblaws. Because I grew up just over the border and used to see the grocery store commercials on Canadian TV all the time as a kid. :)

Thanks playa! Good to see you too! I wrote this the other night while bantering with some OGs in the OT but it’s bizarrely satisfying and fun to run into people I haven’t “seen” or talked to in years - maybe half a decade.

They always sabotage Bernie for whatever reason

Lookin at you CNN

Correct me if I'm wrong... but based on what I have heard from Tulsi she is a gung-ho "war on terror" advocate but just believes the US should change the way it's being prosecuted.

She seems to be pro blow-shit-up-and-kill-terrorists in the ME but anti regime change wars.

Part of me likes her. Her, Yang, and Bernie are the more genuine candidates in the Dem primary.

The Marine part of me isn't a fan of career military types tho

It's too bad that the Democrats never pick awesome campaign songs like Rick Perry did

I'm curious what Trump picks for his re-election campaign. "You Can't Always Get What You Want" was so goddamn perfect. He might actually just stick with it.

If not though, I'm curious what they'll go with. "Sympathy For The Devil" perhaps? I kid, I kid.

Top three guesses would be:

"Respect"
"Ric Flair/2001 theme"
"Cat Scratch Fever"

I laughed so hard when I noticed that was their song. Gotta give him chops for that

There are some folks out there who still think it was "Bittersweet Symphony". Still kinda works, LOL.

lmfao

Jarring AF. A roommate once intentionally woke me up by blasting that shit, I must've shot at least four feet up in the air. Fucking cunt, I wanted to kill him.

Cheers and welcome back.

It's already started.
I'm not feeling it. This shit is fire though.

Those are 12-year-old boys.
