You definitely don't have it straight, since an insult like that from you carries a really low value due to being cheap and abundant, and AFAIK you don't have a long history of being friendly where a comment like that would be over the top. I dont believe this by itself would have been a big deal for her. It has been an accumulation of her being viewed as dishonest throughout her campaign. The Indian ancestry, her kids schooling, Bernie Sanders, so on. The Democrats have been complaining about Trump's dishonest behavior, it makes sense as to why they would turn on someone that is showing similar behavior.

Elizabeth Warren is a very smart woman. I thought she would have had a great chance against Trump before campaign kicked off. Through the campaign season though I have lost faith with her as a candidate. I would still vote for her if she some how won the candidacy, but at this point, I no longer believe she has a shot at beating Trump.

Pretty spot on about 2016 repeating itself, though. And anything you or I are likely to say to each other is something that can be patched up without too much trouble.

And there's also a pretty big difference here, the Trots comment was over the top even compared to the 2016 Hillary vs. Sanders supporters crap. Can't really reconcile that or take it back, and whether you can see it or not, Trots just finished himself. All that's left for him after that is groveling to the protest voters and stuff. Sad to see that kind of self-destruction brought out here, and over a stupid old argument to boot.
