This is definitely a jump ball election. The "blue wave" was always just an inorganic media narrative meant to drive up Democratic enthusiasm. You might "take your hits" with grace, but your comrades will have an epic meltdown if they lose.

If Republicans hold the House, it means that Blue Wave was neutralized by a Red Tsunami. After all, the House usually flips during the POTUS's first term, right? Dems are expected to take the House. If they can't even manage that, it will be recorded as a resounding loss, and a stringing rejection of everything the Democrats stand for.

Hillary Clinton isn't on the ballot, Trump is the only one out there to hate...and the hate is strong. It's pretty obvious the Dems are going to do very well.

It's not like Dems recently started hating Trump. They've been gunning at him for years. IMO, the Trump hate climaxed long ago, and most normal people have accepted that Trump is not Hitler.
