538’s senate prediction gives Republicans a 82.3% chance of keeping the Senate.

In my state, Texas, they give Beto only a 21.5% chance of defeating Cruz.

    https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2018-midterm-election-forecast/house/

They give Democrats a 86.5% chance of taking the House back.

You can check out Governor races here.

It appears that Trump will focus on keeping senate in the last week

I don't live in Texas but I was hoping Beto would win. Can't stand Cruz.

A lot of tight races this year. Many polls are within a % point or two which is often in the margin of error.

The house and senate are more about the party. The governors races are more about the candidate. That's why in Florida, I think Gillum will win. Gillum actually excites people and has a vision for the future of this state. DeSantis does not excite anyone, and he's been having a very difficult time in the debates. He tries to make it sound like Trump will come down here and the run the state.

Gillum seems to be saving Bill Nelson's vanilla ass as well (though that is probably also due to Rick Scott being a dumpster fire of a governor who let red tide shit all over this state.).

Gillum hasn't just been winning his debates against DeSantis, he's smashing DeSantis.

Another reason people are excited about Gillum is because he throws Trumps insults right back in his face and doesn't back down.

Nothing of importance here in Ca. Only a few measures that actually matter to me. Feinstein will win easily Newsom will win easily.

Looks like Democrat JB Pritzker is up against Republican Bruce Rainer. Both absolute disasters for Illinois.

Julian Castro will be watching the Texas polls and races closely. My prediction is Dems take house in 2018 and Julian runs and wins the primary in 2020. He has a very good chance of winning TX in a general and if that happens....

There's been a couple of oddities that have surrounded him. One instance saw some of his staffers pay $5,000 for software using city funds but using it for personal reasons. He ended up paying the money back when it came to light (and probably to his attention). In another instance, his brother was given tickets to a play by an undercover FBI posing as someone else. His brother gave the tickets to Gillum, who maintains that he thought his brother bought them.

Moderator: One of your campaign ads featured you reading Donald Trump's the Art of the Deal to your toddler. Is President Trump a good role model for children?

Ron DeSantis: Umm, I don't really read the Art of the Deal to my toddler. Umm, Trump has a Yuge good relationship with Isreal and that's good. I know Andrew doesn't see it that way.

Andrew Gillum: I'm confused. What was the question?

Moderator: The question was "Is President Trump a good role model for children?"

    Gillum: That's what I thought.

    Crowd: LOL

Texas needs to have some historic turnout for him to have a chance. It is up this year, compared to last midterms.

I believe the Democrats will take the house, the Republicans keep the senate.

I don’t know if Castro has what it takes and I like the guy. I thought his decision to sit out of 2018 wasn’t smart if the presidency was his end goal. He should’ve ran against Abbott and even if he didn’t win his stock wouldn’t risen within the party.

Dana rohrabacher is the congressman here and I've only seen a few signs for him. I've seen numerous signs for his challenger Harvey rouda. Its not even close. Even in surprising places where there are million dollar homes. May not mean anything. They've also been showing this ad which is entirely in russian. That's like an endorsement from Russia. It's something. Putin favorite congressman as he is known.
