Hillary Clinton isn't on the ballot, Trump is the only one out there to hate...and the hate is strong. It's pretty obvious the Dems are going to do very well.
That's what voting is for.
I, for one, hope de Santis beats him.
I think almost 50% of democrats are running on a single payer system. Besides that, there's a lot of justice democrats running on tuition free college, increasing minimum wage, closing tax loopholes, environment regulations, reintroducing glass-steagall, ending the war on cannabis and more. There's some very good platforms out there. For the sake of a lot of people I know, I hope you’re right. I feel like the left has a lot more riding on this one, even if there’s a huge blue wave, the vocal people in the right still have Trump to provide comfort. If the democrats can’t take either legislative branch, the lefties are going to be devastated. I don’t know if the democrats have a platform beyond hating trump though, so it’s not like their winning really signals anything about the future aside from obstruction through 2020.
Latest Frank Luntz Polls (He got Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio right in 2016) has both Republicans in Florida winning the Governorship and Senate. I think it's too close to call, but he has a damn good record.
What/who will the Democrats blame if it doesn't turn out well for them. My guesses.
1. Russians
2. Racist Republicans
3. Its too hard to vote

Wrong. Voting is where people get to decide.
@waiguoren is where you go to find out what the people are going to decide.

Are they running on actually implementing any of these policies? I can’t imagine any of these candidate holding themselves accountable for executing any of the high minded ideas they’re presenting on the trail, to me they fall short of platform points for that reason.
2010 midterms: Obama's first midterm, resulting in Republicans taking +6 in the Senate and +63 in the House. If I was to make any prediction this midterm, which isn't easy to do, I'd say that the Dems will post a relatively pathetic +28 in the House, and actually go into the negative in the Senate, losing two seats.
Some of them are yes. There's a lot of new blood coming up that's anti establishment and many of them are not taking any money from superpacks and big corperations. Single payer is something that even the establishment democrats are running on because of the pressure from the justice democrats taking over. That's something I actually think has a legitimate chance to go through at some point. The majority of Americans support a single payer system according to polls. Also, with the explosion in student debt (1,5 trillion this year), tuition free college will soon be a populist issue. Raising the minimum wage has already been happening in a few states, and with the Stop Bezo act from Bernie and co is shows that big business can be pressured into raising the minimum wage. It would save the government money as they wouldn't have to subsidise big corperations with foodstamps and social welfare. Are they running on actually implementing any of these policies? Which makes it mind-boggling how people out there can vote for THAT and for them.
Trump Derangement Syndrome is for real.![]()

They won't be able to do anything significant with just a narrow majority in the House, except to be Trump's scapegoat and the key to his reelection. So yeah, it will be pathetic.Considering they need a net of 23, it's not really all that pathetic at all for them.
Remember...they don't say HOW, they say HOW MANY.
It's been brewing for a while now. A lot of independents turning democrats as well. People are tired of the establishment and the corperatism. Lots of good politics coming up.Well, thats good. Hopefully they come away from this cycle with a clearer vision for 2020. I’d prefer a coherent platform I disagree with to one of pure opposition.
