I vote by principles, not by my party. If the Republican nominee doesn't share my principles, I don't vote.

There wasn't many likable conservatives in the race last cycle.

This time around I could have voted for Carson or Rand Paul. No others.

I agree. It makes him seem like he is being someone he isn't, and it probably benefits Cruz.

I doubt that mattered much.

But what concerns me is Cruz's attempt to marginalize Rubio in Florida. That's greatly decrease the chances of a Cruz/Rubio ticket.

Sorry to say this, but it honestly doesn't matter much. He's supposed to do good in weirdo caucuses. I would love if that were a meaningful win.
