He would seem to be the best horse to back for the establishment. The chances of Rubio making it through fifty states without completely ruining his electability on the basis of being a moron is extremely low. At the very least, Bush is intelligent, articulate, and can qualify his talk with experience.

I guess you could say Kasich instead. Either way, it still surprises me how shitty Jeb is doing. The guy has the likability/accessibility of his brother and comes off as being much smarter.

Have you been paying close attention to the nomination race?

SC coming up. If history is an indicator, the winner of SC will end up getting the nomination.

As compared to who? He's not running against Trmp and Cruz right now. He's running against Rubio, Christie, and Kasich.

He's running against all of the above, and he's sinking.

Which of those three has a better shot than Bush at this point?
Don't care. It's clear it's not a year for an establishment candidate, for the first time in 35 years.

Maybe if Rubio can rebound in sc, but otherwise its going to be Bush, Cruz, Trump heading into the meat of the schedule.
The label that Christie smeared Rubio with on Saturday, stuck, and chances are it's sticking nation-wide. Rubio was supposed to be competetive for 2nd place tonight, and he's 5th.

And more like Trump and Cruz. It'll be interesting to see which has the delegate lead after Super Tuesday.

Dropouts? Who ya got?

I call Christie, maybe Fiorina and Carson, though they seem stupid enough to embarrass themselves by sticking around.

I have. Which of Christie, Kasich, and Rubio is more viable than Bush?

At this point, Kasich, obviously.

Convince the others to dropout and endorce Kasich, that'll be the only chance he has to take on Trump and Cruz.

In NH and Iowa, if all the Kasich/Rubio/Bush/Christie voters were voting for one of them instead of splitting, they would have won it. If Bush is last man standing of those 4, he's got a fghting chance.

Christie, Pyrrhic victory in his debate barbs w Rubio :) might have sunk Rubio's ship, but Christie is done.

Christie is guaranteed, since he announced cancelling his events in SC.

Carson and Fiorina should, they're wasting their time, but it's all about the money they have and their egos.

I dont think that's obvious at all. Like Huntsman, he's run too far to the left to be competitive in all but the most left of primaries. And he has money issues.

I haven't watched the last couple of debates but I thought Jeb came off as a limp dick when I saw him and I was expecting him to crush the field.

I'm not a registered voter, and I have no dog in this fight, but this was too crazy to not post.

This is apparently what passes for journalistic integrity these days.... and people actually get their news here? Pretty sad, IMO.

I like that tabloid a lot better when they were concentrating on lists like "10 things you should cook with bacon", as well as around the clock hunting for the latest celebrity nipslips.

Now they're in the same looney bin as Salon and Mother Jones.

Rubio comes in 4th in SC, is he done? Or does he hold out for Florida and a death match with Bush?

That's supposing that ALL of their supporters don't have Trump or Cruz as their 2nd or 3rd choice. That's rarely the case.

But realistically, Bush has less than a 1% chance at the nomination, if that.

Republicans are sick of the Bush family. That family has tainted the party for far too long.

christie, carson and fiorina should all be gone after this.

Rubio comes in 4th in SC, is he through? Or does he hold out for Florida and a death match with Bush?

It's unknown how badly the debate has damaged his poll numbers, but it's not looking good. At all.

New numbers in... 800 votes seperate Cruz and Bush now, with 77% of precincts in.
