There is a pic of Trump doing the same thing and it's very off-putting , up here we go into an actual booth , ain't nobody seeing who you voted for which is as it should be .

Is there much talk about overall higher levels of voter participation this election?
NPR was saying around noon that swing state turnout was bigly. Hard to say who that benefits though. Probably dems but much uncertain such swing

A lot of Hillary supporters in here. Odd for a bunch of MMA fans who are actually well read on the topic and know about corruption in her history.

Very strange indeed.

The election's rigged, polls are rigged, Sherdog's rigged.

I think it's pretty obvious.

Fuck NPR.
If it's not Michael Savage..then I don't care.

They would have definitely preferred a smaller field, but even that might not have helped. A lot of Carson votes would have gone to Donald, probably Cruz too, and Fiorina was never really a factor. Jeb, Rubio, and Kasich fighting over the sane GOP vote was too much when Donald's base was so secure. I mean, once you're a Trump voter, what is going to convince you to change your mind? He made those guys all look like cardboard cutouts or your boring uncle.

Funny thing is that any one of those guys would have steam rolled Hillary.

This is a little bit obscure but I've got a question.

In North Carolina there is a very tight Senate race between Deborah Ross and Richard Burr. 538 has Burr with a 73.4% chance of winning but is now giving Clinton a 55.5% of winning North Carolina.

Isn't it reasonable to assume that if Hillary is going to get the kind of turnout in the state she needs to carry it, wouldn't she carry Ross with her?

I have a really eerie feeling about tonight.

I'm legit nervous about Trump even coming close to the white house.

Yet Hillary isn't a problem for you at all....modern day America scares the shit out of me

@Der Eisbar I meant to ask you this morning, why do you feel Trump is going to pull it out?

You always seem to have an intelligent outlook on things and seeing you say that legit made me feel uneasy.

At what point is it normally known who won? Same day or next day? If same day then what hour?

Not sure if I should stay up late for this or not.

Unless things are really, really close, Florida should get called by midnight ET. If Hilary wins Florida, it's over.

If Hilary loses Florida, then you have North Carolina to look at (which may be called before Florida). Hilary wins that and it's very likely over.

Trump wins those two, watch for NH (which could be called earlier than the other two). If Trump wins that, plan for a late night. If he loses that, his path is probably closed, but you might want to wait around for Michigan.

Any way you slice it, the election SHOULD be as good as decided by the time the east coast is called.

If Trump wins Florida, North Carolina, and New Hampshire, but doesn't pull off anything surprising, like Michigan, then you could be up very late waiting to see what happens in Colorado and/or Nevada.

Speaking of, I was catching up with some of the radio programs I listen to, and there was a segment of interviews with early Ohio voters. I was struck by how extremely similar they were to what I read on Sherdog. To poorly quote the one that sticks most in my mind:

"Everything's so bad, why not give it to Trump? See what he can do about it? I mean, the country has, pardon my french, it's gone to hell in a handbasket!"

Just really interesting to me. A sense that 'everything' has gotten SOO much worse (presumably in the last 8 years since Bush left office) and that people (or, the right people) don't have the say they should or the power they deserve, but when pressed on specifics, it's "just look at the economy!" or "just look at everything that's happening with refugees!"

So has Queen Hilary been crowned yet, or do we still have to go through with the farce of pretending the peasant's votes actually matter?:)

Only Rubio would have.
No, as soon as Rand Paul talked about legalizing weed all the pott smoking Bernie Bots would have voted for him over Hillary.
They would have switched from a socialist to a conservative with liberterian views over night.

Only Rubio would have.

I think Kasich would have done very well. He is so bland taht there is very little for the media to say about him. The election would have been much more focused on hillary, which I think would have been damaging.
