I'm an 80's kid, but I have to admit the 90's was the GOAT decade... everything was awesome! Economy, movies, music, world affairs, technology was booming etc.

You are probably right as of now.

I did a thread/poll about how old is everyone on here it came out to be 37ish as the average based on my calculations.

It's probably older now, I have no idea how many newer members that are young have joined since than.

But I'll have to do another thread/poll like that to see what the numbers will be like now.

Much respect to the 75 year old super seniors that voted there

80's by a hair. The end of the 90's gave us a bubblegum pop revival, southern hip hop, giganto baggy pants and some other unforgivable shit.
And the cause of all this unforgivable shit? You guessed it, Frank Stallone.

They’re neck and neck as far as movies, TV and music are concerned imo. I think the tie breaker for the 90s for me is video games.

Now that I'm thinking about it, movie effects may have hit their peak in the 90s as well.

It's been 32 years and I still haven't seen an action movie as realistic/scary than Jurassic Park

All the CGI shit looks fake and stupid

Everything was definitely more fun in the 80s. 90s was also great, but darker and gloomier. People were more angry about "society" and more enraged at their parents/authority figures.

As far as tech advancements, 80s ushered in the personal comps, but they didnt really hit big until they became more affordable in the 90s. Of course, communications took a massive leap forward with the internet, email and early smartphones.

Music and Movies are definitely subjective. Again, I found film and music in the 80s and 90s matching the times. 80s arts were more fun and exciting while 90s was darker and more socially driven.

I grew up on both 80s and 90s tv and can safetly say nostalgia really kicks in when I think 80s. The kid in me picks those cartoons and shows. Transformers, GI Joe, A-Team, Knight Rider, Miami Vice, etc.

Economy wise, the 90s beats down the 80s quite handidly.

Overall, id have to give it to the 90s, but the kid in me would go back to the 80s.
