I've been enjoying reading the words of high-ranking Republicans who are regretting their actions with Obama as Trump takes over.
 
How exactly did Obama make America more racist?

I agree he handled race issues poorly, but those types of issues existed before and will exist after his presidency.

Personally, I think people have used Obama as an excuse to show their true colors.
 
Given the people who are next in line, I'm sad at Obama's departure

Yeah, the good with the bad, I think there are definitely many people who became more open about their racism under his term, and many black people thought it was a time they could start addressing the many inequalities they face daily. They unfortunately chose to do this, with the help of the media, by making martyrs of men who really shouldn't have been. Then Obama had to respond, and he was almost obligated to side with the BLM crowd. Just a bad situation, but blaming him for making the country more racist is an idea that only makes sense in a special bubble.

my health insurance is over $100 more each pay period, I get less tax back while making more every year.

Neither hilary/trump have yet to do anything to my pocketbook, while obama is directly responsible for money hemorrhaging from my pockets.

Even worse we were told we would save about $2500/yr. But in reality my premiums have gone up at least $2500, but probably more like $5000.
