i mean yeah dude. of course he was. that's a heinous murder.
They should investigate what his upbringing was like, if he had any emotional support etc, etc. and decide from there. People aren't born monsters, they become them cause of life's circumstances, so first let's investigate how it came to this and then sentence him.
at a certain point though, it's not really about that. it's about protecting the greater public. i firmly believe people can and should "lose their chance" to be part of society. If???
Almost a guarantee that he had a terrible upbringing. Abuse, neglect, violence, poverty, zero mental stimulation, etc. Anyone that's worked with teens (I have) knows that approximately 99.7% of troubled kids have shitty home lives.
The maturity factor is also big. Yeah, even 6-year-olds "know" that murder is wrong, but fully understanding and caring about the long-term consequences of your actions is hard for teens and even very young adults.
SinsisterAssuming genders, eh?
I'm surprised he didn't use the word unalive.A guy named Sinister censors the word kill?
What the H lol
You know the answer. When he gets out at 54, what's he going to do?
I disagreeInternet tough talk about killing children, nothing more.
Who would even do that sh*t? As in, carry out the execution. Anyone who Is comfortable even pushing a button that would eliminate 100 kids guilty of heinous crimes is just as bad as those kids are. They just found a legal context agreeable with their bloodlust
I teach on this subject. The brain doesn’t fully form until about age 25. I used to be in favor of this, but not anymore. Sure, he deserves a long sentence for his cruelty and callousness, but not life.
I disagree
Well, yes.My wife has an Aunt, she has a severe detachment disorder to the degree where she's spooky. Lights are on but you're never sure if anyone is home. Shes been institutionalized since childhood because she tried to kill their older Brother when they were small. Went after him with a hammer or a knife or something, she was proned to fits of rage.
I can only laugh at the comments in here. If she would have successfully killed her Brother these goons would have applauded her execution.
plenty of serial killers display signs of it from a younger age than this kid, i believe some are born that way.I never said he should be free: I didn't imply you said that.
People aren't born monsters: I don't know about that. The brain is so complicated. I think some people are predisposed to do crazy things.
Correct.Lol@this thread
K*ll the crime out of the children!! If a kid does a heinous crime just execute them and send all those other 14 year-olds a message!!
