More proof sherdoggers don't actually watch fights
9-3 elbows you stupid American.
Mended was complaining about getting hit in the back of the head not 12-6 strikes.
Look at the clock face. Conor was clearly throwing them from 9 to 3. The clock face does not rotate if you are on your back. No matter what your orientation is 12 to 6 is ALWAYS ceiling to floor...

from back its a 6-12 elbow..
He never got hit to the back of the head, just the top which is perfectly legal.
This is the only time I've seen Conor go from 6 to midnight

To the top of the head IS illegal (the 'mohawk' area). That may be why a lot of people ITT are confused, because people do get warned for that sometimes. That is probably what Chad was complaining about. Obviously 12-6 from the bottom is impossible though.
12-6? Why are you worrying about what time it is? It is McGregor's time. It is the McGregor era!
Conor bless.
no it's not...where do you come up with this stupid shit. 12 to 6 is defined as ceiling to floor, completely vertical. It's NOT the refs discretion.
I remember Rogan saying something like, "It's the exact same motion," referring to 6-12 vs 3-9.
I'd have to agree with Rogan's implications. The only difference would be the fighters weight
The name of the 12-6 elbow is based on the concept of a clock on the wall with the bringing of an elbow from straight up (12 o'clock) to straight down (6 o'clock).
12-6 elbow strikes are illegal under the Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts, defined as "striking downwards using the point of the elbow".[1] Such bans were justified as being for medical and safety reasons, due to the possibility of serious injuries to opponents that could result from their use.
Why? Do you also not like punches, kicks, knees etc......?
This is mixed martial arts, not a tickling contest. Or is it just because Conor used them?
