Yes he is very reckless and isn't very meticulous. The straight punches worked and then he stopped doing them because his fight IQ is low. Other fighters like Poirier feel the same. Stop being a outrage whore like Im saying things nobody else sees. This is all very obvious.

Outraged?? LOL, I am far from that and talking to you calmly just pointing out the flaws in your argument. Saying other people say the same thing doesn't really prove much. Most of the criticism around Chandler has been that he doesn't try to mix it up and use his wrestling, when in fact in both the Gaethje and Poirier fights he did quite well or attempted to. Can't trust what others say.

It's far from obvious. The fact you're using the Poirier fight as an example of him having bad fight IQ with some weak argument about him throwing straight punches shows you don't have much else to say. If anything, the Poirier fight is a very good example of him having the right strategy and good fight IQ. He came in with a grappling game plan and that worked quite well for him. He got two very good reactionary TD's in both the first two rounds and had top control out grappling Poirier. In round 2, his got a very nice TD while Poirier was covering him, that's good fight IQ, and he was on top for the entire round. And round 3 he went back to his grappling looking to take Poiriers back. Poirier just reversed and took his back.

He has a fighting style that is aggressive, but you can have fighters that fight like that and still display good fight IQ.

No the Poirier fight is a great example. He did something that almost won him the fight and then he stopped doing it because he is dumb. Poirier felt the same thing.

Other fighters have called him out about this too

"Hey
@MikeChandlerMMA
it’s time to defend your rankings! Lowest fight IQ in the division against new mma generation. I won’t see you at the top"

Where there is smoke theres fire

He is an exciting fighter but his Fight IQ is low

Thank you for proving how stupid and nonsensical your argument is once again. Taking Arman of all people and his rant on twitter as an example??

I think we should call this debate to an end. Thanks for coming our and participating sport.

Chandler's low fight IQ is obvious. Debating whether Chandler has low fight IQ is like debating if the earth is round.

Sure it is buddy! You can tell yourself that all you want.

he fought it for about 7-8 seconds when it was sunk in.
7, 8 seconds. That's quick. Thank you for agreeing with me. Any faster than that, it would be FIXED, not fast.
Thanks again for agreeing with me."

You can deny the obvious all you want
<Fedor23>

Well, there is no obvious dummy. You came up with one weak example that make almost no sense. I have many that show good fight IQ from the same fight and many other fights through his career.

Now beat it

If you think a tap after fighting a tight submission for 8 seconds, from a superb submission specialist is quick, then you're a complete imbecile who knows nothing about grappling. Just for you reference, Dober tapped to the same arm triangle, after 4 seconds and Hooker tapped to a kimura after about 5. Look how quickly Conor and Poirier tapped to Khabib, literally 2-3 seconds. And it's not that those guys are quitters, they just know there is no way out just like Charles.

I dont know. His opponent was bewildered about his low fight IQ.

Okay, thank you for that great response. Now I am under the impression that you're mentally challenged.

Charlie make him go sleepy this time around, inshallah

After Islam crushes him again, you guys may not like it, but you are going to have to give Islam his due

He's going to smash him

Hey, I really like Oliveira a lot, but you trying to argue to me that he didn't quit quickly is like saying that water isn't wet, fire doesn't burn, having a submission locked in doesn't mean, doesn't justify immediate surrender; there he tapped quickly, and there are many examples of that. Arguing against what we watched is just denying reality.

Makhashev is right.
