Helping our friends is a thing though Im not for what Trump said. But if this country is righting itself instead of a black hole then it seems beneficial.
Argentina's inflation has dropped dramatically since 2022, with monthly rates falling from the high single digits to as low as 1.5% by mid-2025, while the annualized rate dropped from over \(200\%\) in 2023 to around \(43.5\%\) by mid-2025. This significant decline is attributed to President Javier Milei's austerity measures, which have focused on drastic cuts to government spending to achieve a fiscal surplus.
"Our friends" is kinda subjective.
Qatar probably count as America's "friends" since they bought Trump a plane...
And sure, inflation is an ongoing battle, but that metric alone isn't indicative of Milei's performance. Look at the Argentine Peso and the plunge into poverty with reduced social safety nets and let me know what you think.
