Movies ‘Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair’ to Finally Be Released in Theaters

He's not wrong...

Agreed. I love the score that plays right before she finds Bill at the bar too.. that cover of ‘The Zombies’ ‘She’s not there’ is chefs kiss for me. it’s perfect when a director knows how to blend just the right song into a scene to help set the tone.

Score/soundtrack usage is one of the reasons I’m such a QT fan.. Scorsese too. I think QT’s best usage of a soundtrack is between ‘Jackie Brown’ and the ‘Kill Bill’ films.. tho he usually sticks the landing on all his films in that regard.

I wouldn't say bad...just different style which threw things off.

Exactly.... Bad.

Can't change the style of action in an action series when there's just two of them.

If the internet was as big in the mid-2000s as it is today it would have destroyed Tarantino after the 2nd movie.

Hmm, I guess the tone change wasn't for everyone, but I appreciate the it. And it makes sense that the style of action changes as the 2nd volume is modeled more after the spaghetti western than the kung-fu film.

And also Carradine has like a zillion film and tv appearances after Kill Bill.

My local Cinemark still doesn't have it listed. I hope I don't have to drive to see it.

I'm excited for it but I watch movies before the theater is open and this shit is over 4 hours long 💀
