It's just lie after lie with these scumbags. Non stop gaslighting. At root, this doesn't even have anything to do with immigration specifically. That word is a just a vessel for the reactionary desire to exert physical control/force over literally everyone. That's why ICE is, say, going to a high school, pepper spraying students, and then grabbing up US citizens. They want ICE to be untouchable and irresistible, free to go wherever they want, detain whoever they want, and have complete immunity from consequences. It's the formation of a private military, which is a hallmark of authoritarianism.

They're not asking "Did the ICE officer have a reasonable perception that his life was at risk?" because providing an answer to it would be against their agenda.

I'm all for US rounding up and getting rid of any illegal or non-citizen criminal. I have no issue with the principle, enforced and highly controlled borders are extremely important to a functional country.

I don't agree with some of the tactics being displayed, that's for sure. And certainly not engaging in violent confrontation with random American citizens, regardless of how much of a pain in the ass they're being.

If this woman had been a nuisance and was impeding their ability to do their jobs, they should have pulled her over and issued tickets immediately, properly arrested her, or had local PD come and do it.

I don't think people fully grasp what they're advocating for. She basically ended up dead because she panicked and made a bad decision when she was protesting which she had a right to do. By the logic being used on here the cops would have been absolutely mowing people down on J6.

I kind of regret bringing up the PTSD angle. I'm sure somebody else would have but now it's become an excuse of sorts for the brainless.

If he did have PTSD and was cleared for active duty without proper assessment or treatment, then the department still holds responsibility on a large level here.

I don't think this sees court at all unfortunately, but if it does they will lean into the PTSD as an attempted excuse. Sad stuff.
