Something kind of weird happened to me this morning

Last night I fell asleep watching TV, I used the TV remote to flip through the channels and then set it on the edge of my bed so it's out of the way. I don't have a stand or anything next to my bed. But this morning I woke up to turn the TV off because the noise was bothering me. I reach over to use the controller and the batteries have been taken out and placed neatly next to it. I was the only one in my house last night so I'm not sure what to think of it. I don't remember waking up at any point throughout the night.

If that is in fact a true story, and you know for sure no one else, was in the house, then either you do weird shit in the middle of the night and you don't even know it or you're haunted. Pretty much that simple, really.

I've asked everyone I could think of that would have a reason to be in my room while I'm sleeping, like my parents who were out of town last night and got back this morning, but they had no idea what I was talking about. I'm a pretty light sleeper so if someone even opens my door I usually wake up. The TV woke me up this morning even though it had been on all night.
