Ah ok. I initially only read your post. I now see in the article, Iole lazily says:

That doesn’t include the other revenue streams, but combined, they would be far less than the pay-per-view revenues.

I wonder what "far less" means. If the PPV revenues are $420 million like he says, $150 million in other revenue could still qualify as "far less".

I guess I'm just disagreeing with your "So best case he splits 54.4 with uncle Dana and co. " Maybe add $20 million on top of that from other revenue sources.

I think McGregor would be happy with $20 mil or $30 mil. Maybe he will get close to $50 mil, hard to tell.

So best case he splits 54.4 with uncle Dana and co.

With the way the UFC likes taking the Lions share I doubt he even makes 25 mil.
