Not Sure Semtex is The Right Test for MVP...

Holy crap! He KO'd a guy who is 6-7 in the last 5 years?? Amazing! And he KO'd a guy who just retired from MMA at 30 years old to go fight in bareknuckle boxing matches? Incredible!

lol way to nitpick. Most of Larkin's losses were at middleweight and a couple decision losses could have went either way. He has some good wins against legit guys and if we extend that to 6 years, a win over Robbie Lawler, but we won't do that because that doesn't favor your argument. quit being a :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:.

Of course its a huge test, Daley fought with legends of the sports and beats lots of them.

Like Pat Healy, Shields, Kos, Nick Diaz, Woodley, Misaki, Lima, Rory and Fitch?

Wait, he lost all of those. Daley is a pretty good fighter, but he loses pretty consistently to bigger name fighters. Masvidal (who was a true LW at the time) and Larkin are exceptions. And Larkin is the very definition of a hot-cold fighter...you never know what version will show up.

Having said all that, he's the biggest test for MVP yet, but he's also past his prime. Most fighters wear down after about 35 fights, and he's had 58. He's also 35.

He also beat Duane Ludwig and Martin Kampmann hot off his win over Condit.
