McGregor actually punched the official in the face. Long suspension incoming

ufc has a code of conduct. attacking a referee and punching an official in the face when he has no business even being in the cage is more than anyone else has ever done
In that case, he's had two incidents recently and perhaps the UFC and the ABC need to consult on this and maybe even bring in Goddard for his thoughts as well

why is McChicken trying to avoid defending the title again? what a clown

It's pretty obvious now, hell do w/e it take to not defend his belt.

Lol so much for that so called power, the official ate that shot like it was candy and asked for more lol

I think he did this on purpose to duck defending the belt, after his play for co-promoter failed this is his way of negotiating himself out of that fight. Conor = confirmed fake champion, never deserved the shot in the first place, will never fight Tony/Khabib/etc

I've had a look at the ABC's info and they don't have any jurisdiction in Ireland, they're an American commission. Bellator chooses to use unified rules in Ireland, or anywhere else they go but that's their call. They could write their own ruleset if they wanted.

Even if your first claim made sense that an American commission is overseeing an event in another country, it completely nullifies your other point that McGregor would be fine to fight everywhere other than America.
Bellator chose to use ABC to oversee this event. I don't know what else you're arguing about, but that part is definite.

What a joke. Get this turkey out of here.

Fuck. I always look forward to a Conor fight, but this dude is just going out of his way to act like a clown now.

First it was the other week, causing trouble during the Fili vs Artem fight, now this bullshit. His mate just won his fight, so he goes in and causes enough trouble to get the attention on himself. Some mate he is.

All the while no one is looking out for the guy who was knocked out because they're all too busy trying to deal with this moron jumping the cage.

I'm not surprised he hit the official either. I imagine he saw an easy way to get suspended and avoid the Ferguson fight and he just took it.

Dude needs to stop acting like he's top shit. Got given a title shot at LW after no fights in the division and needed two tries to squeak a decision out of Nate Diaz of all people.

I'd be happy to watch Floyd play with him again at this point.

Apperantly he didn't slap the official. As you can see from the photo above McGregor actually punched him and according to reports, very long suspension is on the horizon for mcgregor.

You can watch the incident here.

McGregor committed 7 different crimes in the Bellator incident.

1-) Jumped into the cage as a viewer.
2-) Verbally assaulted the referee and pushed him.
3-) Then he ran afterwards the ref and violently shoved the referee from behind while the ref was checking on the knocked out fighter.
4-) Pushed and ran over the knocked out fighter while he was screaming at Goddard.
5-) McGregor was escorted out but after awhile he came back to the cage and furiously tried to reach the referee Goddard again.
6-) He left the cage again only to jump back onto it afterwards.
7-) This time he punched the official Mike Johnson in the photo above that was trying to restrain him from entering into the cage again. Johnson allegedly went to police afterwards.

Suspension by whom? You're forgetting that most of these athletic commission are corrupt themselves. They have no moral authority whatsoever.

Anyone trying to jump in that cage who wasnt supposed to be in there should be pushed back out. They shouldnt be on there. are they supposed to go 'Oh that Mcgregor, Thats ok'
Dudes just had a baby and hes off his face on coke slapping officials. Shows the type of man he is,
Conor is 100% in the wrong for jumping in there, but, no, officials should not be pushing guys off the top of the cage in response. Conor could have fell on his head and got injured.
He shouldn't of been up there to begin with, but that doesn't give an official or security license to hurt him.

Hahaha.....you are either new to MMA, or don't watch very much of it.
It is actually a dumb way of thinking. There were rules Connie broke them, and you are defending it when you don't know shit.

It's the same as if ur acting drunk at a restaurant and decide to stand up on your chair and act a fool, it's against the rules but a waiter doesn't have the right to shove you off the chair. Security has more leeway to use force and that official isn't a security guard

That isn't how athletic commissions work. Yes, they can use officials and follow rules from a particular body. But that body has no authority to do anything outside of their jurisdiction. Even inside of their own jurisdiction, it would be very legally difficult for them to make a case for refusing McGregor a license because of his behaviour as a spectator at an event in which nobody had agreed to their rules or standards.

'TO HURT HIM' hahahahh FUCK OFF

He stopped a guy running into the cage when an fighter was Kod whats he supposed to do??. Fuck conor. Its indefensible and anyne trying to put the blame on a guy doing his fucking job should be ashamed. If it was any other random fighter youd be giving them shit. Mac gets a pass off you morons. You should be free to glass him over the head for trying to enter the cage while a man was down. Indefensible,

ABC President Mike Mazzulli, who was serving in a regulatory capacity at Bellator 187, just texted me: “Mr. McGregor is not bigger than the sport of MMA!!!”

I have no idea what will happen to him and think that, while what he did was stupid and largely attention whoring, it is being overblown here. But they were under ABC jurisdiction.
