Making racial slurs is illegal in Australia

So in other words, Colby thought he was safe talking smack to Werdum but found it not so?

Quite funny imo.

Then press charges..wow.

Mods- seriously, it's okay to refer to Colby as "the bitch" now isn't it?

Colby also called him a fa**ot. It's on video.

Literally the same day after there were celebrations in the streets of that city (the gayest city in the world) for that state legalizing gay marriage.

I hope they throw the book at him.

there is no chance that SJW are more obese than alt-right southern bigots. both sides are snow flakes and assholes though.

real values are in the middle not the fringes of ideals.

'alt-right' Ooh. Look at you go. Somebody was paying attention to Hillary Clinton's speech. Good for you.

'real values are in the middle...' Nope. That's a highly fallacious blanket statement. It doesn't apply to all issues.

As an aside, there is nothing whatsoever that is *automatically* virtuous about setting oneself in the middle of two opposed visions.

Sometimes the truth really is one side and one side is *actually* wrong.

Side A says 2 + 2 equals 4.
Side B says 2+ 2 equals 6.

The correct path is to simply side with side A. Not say that 2 + 2 equals 5.

If you have it in your heart to call someone such a vicious word that represents centuries of oppression and violation, such as the F word, then you are very likely capable of heinous actions e.g. murder. Colby should go to Australian prison for a long, long time (YEARS). You must abide by the laws of the nation you are a guest in.

my point was it seems that now days people automatically have a position on an issue without even hearing the issue. There is the left and the right on 95% of US issues.

the issue is is that there is often much more than two sides to any argument, yet we in the US are locked into an US vs them mentality.

currently neither side believes in a Win-Win situation. if one side wins the other HAS TO LOSE. the world is a complicated place and this is not true.

taking the middle doesn't mean not choosing your own opinion on an issue. it means that you actually look into issues that are important and can be "left wing" on some issues and "right wing" on others.

right now the polarization of american politics means it is very difficult to hold views that apply to both sides of the aisle even when comparing two non related issues.

Idk about making words illegal, thats a bit much. BUT if you wanna talk all kinda nasty shit about people then you shouldnt be allowed to call the cops if someone catch you in public and chin check you for it. You want freedom of speech, ok but accept the consequences for talking stupid. You can say what you want, but you're not above the consequences of saying it. If you can't act like a decent civil human being then you don't deserve it in return.

If you call the cops on someone for smacking the shit outta you YOU'RE the pussy. Period.

Boom this man gets it.
Ppl are absorbed with “their side” that they ignore anything reasonable from other points of view.

Divide and conquer is real.

They dont have free speech in Australia?! Holy shit!

This should be a bigger story than the boomerang incident.

If you’re american, be VERY careful in other countries when pushing your luck. We’re the only nation that protects hate speech, as far as i know.

If Colby actually called Werdum a dirty animal and Brazilians for dirty animals he could be charged with a hate crime.

I somehow doubt that the Australian authorities are a bunch of Sherdoggers who think Brazilian is a race.

Australia is a very racist country white supremists go around attacking minorities over there all the time

Watch it. Around here, apparently, badmouthing Australia means you're racist.
