Khabibs Dad already smeshing him. lol

If I was Khabib, I would’ve knocked my dad and give him concussions

Strength and respect within family bonds used to be the norm in our country.

Abdulmanap is such a boss. Already forgave Conor for the pre fight antics .

Meanwhile Tony McGregor was going on MMA media outlets talking shit about khabib lol

Eh it has its moments.
But come on this shits hilarious and sadthetic when people try to be all badass on a web forum. Dude says he's mastered all these different martial arts by time he was 21. That's straight bullshit and kinda sad. People like that need to be called out on there lies or they will continue to live in there unhealthy fantasy world.
Fair enough. Sorry mate I was cranky last night and boozed up

#MeToo is not a fucken joke. Don’t play with that. And no, I love threatening people anonymously, even my own dad.

Not a joke?

"Threatening people anonymously" isn't a joke either :). Disrespect towards non-degenerate parents is degeneracy, also.

Champions defend their titles and take on all comers. Khabib is legit. Glad to see he's not letting up the training.

I’d kick my dad’s ass if he tried doing that to me.
No, you would take it and internalize your anger. You would strike back by becoming a counter-culture icon and attempt to demonize your father through song. When sober and clear minded you would realize that you father did really want to hurt you.Your life would enter a downward spiral fueled by drugs, and the realization that no matter what level of fame you attained or how much adulation you received from the public there was a hole at the core of your being that could never be filled. This would lead to increasingly destructive behavior that would crescendo to the point where you get arrested for falsely imprisoning and assaulting a male escort. At some point you would wake up in prison, soberly look into the mirror, and realize that you have become the same type of monster you have always believed your father to be. But hey, maybe you can return to the spotlight through the miracle of reality television.

You sound like you have no idea what you’re talking. So you should probably stop. I will seriously fight you.

Khabib talking about fighting GSP (around 6:02) is interesting. I get the sense he knows that is the toughest fight he could take, and he acknowledges Georges walks around about 185 like himself. If this fight happens, it should be at 170 (or 165, which Khabib mentions too). I don't love champions with few title defenses moving up in weight, but Khabib vs GSP (after Tony) is crazy good. If Dana won't make 165 for that fight then he never will.

As long as the few title defenses for Khabib you speak of is the 2 variant of a "few" that sounds lame.

Khabib is a grown f’n man.

The LW champ that might never be beaten.

He could definitely go down as one of the LW GOAT’s.

And he still lets his dad boss him around like he’s a child.

I understand most people listen to their father, but they aren’t treated like a mischievous kid.

Abdualmanap GOAT.

Different culture.

I respected and listened to my dads wisdom even when he was on his death bed.

I never saw myself above, or superior to him, even when he aged. He taught me so much about life and how to survive.

Most people listen to their father, but most wouldn’t put up with their dad depriving them of sleep and making them run the mountains at 5 AM.

I don’t actually care. Just I think Khabib should make choices for himself instead of letting dear old dad control him.

Maybe this is just his fathers way to keep Khabib in peak condition both mentally and physically. He’s at the top now and it only gets harder from here.

Now is not really the time to celebrate. He’s got some real tough opponents to deal with. Khabib’s dad obviously wants to keep his sons head in the game.

He’s retiring soon, but maybe his dad realizes ok, you beat the biggest cash cow/star, solidified you’re the champ and made a lot of money, but nothing has changed.

Still gotta suffer to stay at the top. Mental toughness can be what wins you the fight. Just ask Darren Elkins.

I still wouldn’t allow my dad to burst in the room with a saxophone to wake me up after having very little rest, then making me run through the mountains n shit.

Being grounded like a child at 30 years old.
