Is ufc dying or just cutting costs?

Have many years have you anti-UFC shills been saying ___________ org is the UFC's competitor?

Don't you ever feel embarassed that year after year you're proven wrong?

With all these numbers that get released about their profits and fighter pay. It’s very easy to see and hard to deny what they are doing when their focus is acquiring cheap talent instead of legit combat sports prospects from other orgs or sports.

Dying.

Events are very lacklustre nowadays and have been for a long time.

The UFC should be shuttered and the fighters' contracts converted to WWE jobber contracts.

This question is only about pursuing free agents or fighters on the verge of free agency!!

UFC has been the premier mma org for what seems like always. They bought out the full rosters of competing orgs like Pride, wec, and strikeforce in the past.

Now with their biggest competition (bellator) trying to figure out what to do with its talent and roster why has ufc only signed mvp and Kyla? Why did they not make aggressive moves as bellator is being bought out by pfl? Why no plays at nemkov, pitbull, McKee etc?
I’m thinking the fact that Bellator’s fighters are contracted to Bellator has a lot to do with it. You can’t sign someone under contract to a different org. Those Bellator fighters still belong to PFL. Unless they are released.

You can only sign free agents. Including people that have been released.

The UFC is a product and they are hoping to continue to hold the market through branding. From the looks of it they don't believe paying a premium price on talent is their main priority unless the risk is worth the reward. It's the reason why they are offering pathetic contracts to fairly known / experience fighters.

They are the same as their sibling organization - they make more money and are making inroads in new markets, but TV ratings (and apparently PPV buys) have declined significantly in the core US market.

Their greed means they have voluntarily subordinated themselves to boxing rather than trying to compete with it. They force their slaves to publicly beg to box in order to get paid. This despite being by far the biggest and most profitable singular fight promoter.

They generally don't have any mainstream stars that fight more than once in a half-decade now.

Ari seems to be operating as mainly a parasite, willing to squeeze every dollar out of the company rather than really expand it.

Bellator sure worked out great for them.

I've never seen an "anti-shill" shilling for bellator, but you did say "anti-shillS," with an "S" implying there are a lot of them on here. Can you give some examples?
