I'm a Border Patrol Agent and I work that specific stretch of border. Funding for the replacement of the fencing in that area was approved in 2013 and because of how slowly the government moves it is finally nearing completion. Trump had literally nothing to do with this.

Who ever said this was never built before? Nobody. My exact words, "we've already begun replacing existing fence with 20ft high steel barriers". Trump secured around 200 million to continue the process. You can bitch it's not a 40ft high wall, you can complain that you want open borders and more drugs, you can wish for less national security. The FACTS are while you liberals were bitching, Trump is making America a safer, more prosperous nation.

He's got no plans to shutdown the Government over a border wall.

visa overstays arent nearly as concerning as border crossings. These are folks that had money to start with. It's like comparing a wealthy businessman from Hong Kong deciding F'it, I'm staying in america, vs some random from the south with no money, crossing to have a million babies, and burdening the welfare and school systems.
