If trump builds the wall?

just have a wall of auto turrents that kills anything that comes within 50 meters. problem solved.

Why do people question if Mexico will pay for the wall when there are a number of ways to do it:

-Cut foreign aid to Mexico

-Tax Remittances made from illegal aliens working here ($38 billion was sent out of USA in 2015 alone)

-Use confiscated drug money

-Solar panels on the wall will also create some extra cash, so Mexico might not have to pay as much if Trump chooses to be generous.

Those are just a few. If they take a percentage from each of those sources, what is unrealistic about that?

You pretend like our current immigration system doesnt enforce these values as is. Why is it infinitely harder for someone from Zimbabwe to get into America illegally. Why are you OK with Jose, but not Akudzwe? It's the silliest spin.

With people that overstay visa's, they either come from friendly countries that have no requirements like australia, sweden, england, ect. or if not, they go through extensive background checks and have to qualify to be monetarily independent. To compare them to the average Jose or Akudzwe is laughable. Of course, money matters, only a child would think otherwise.

I'm not particularly advocating that Jose be allowed to stay over Akudzwe or Ming. It just seems pretty anti-American to say that Ming has "money" so we don't care if he's illegal.

Just to be sure that we're on the same page - all of the 9/11 hijackers came here on legal visas. 1 as a student and the rest on business and tourist visas. Oh, and supposedly from friendly countries.

My comment however was focused on the majority of Jose's that sneak into the country and work (harder than most Americans these days) for a better life. --- Ideally, no we wouldn't have people sneaking into the country and I readily claim that they suppress wages by doing so --- That aside, I'll not blame anyone for trying to better their situation for their family.

Now, if you're actually worried that Jose, Pedro, and Julio are going to take your job; then you may want to reevaluate you skill set or work ethic.

Trump is a do nothing bitch.
All he does is shit tweet and play golf. I have never seen someone talk so much shit and actually get nothing done.
That said as with most of what the Snake Oil Salesman sold none of it will get done.
Fucker can not even repeal Obamacare and his party controls the house.

Speaking of golf:

Trump Golf Count: 55*

Cost to Taxpayer: At least $62,635,876

We only spent 100mil on Obama in 8 years.

I won't be shocked when he "breaks ground" and his supporters claim ultimate victory

I also won't be shocked when it turns out to be a giant pork barrel money sink funneling dump trucks of $$$ to admin-friendly companies and isn't finished 10 years later "because of the liberals".

President Trump just tweeted about Mexico paying for it again:

Concrete Border Wall Prototype Contractors Announced

WASHINGTON, D.C. — On Thursday afternoon U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced the first four contractors that will build border wall prototypes in San Diego.
Acting Deputy Commissioner Ronald Vitiello addressed a room full of reporters on Thursday afternoon in Washington D.C. to make the announcement on the progress on border wall prototype construction.

Construction is now scheduled to begin in the fall, although CBP will be discussing the timeline with vendors.

Four contractors have been granted agreements to construct concrete border wall prototypes:

  • Caddell Construction Co. (DE), LLC of Montgomery, AL
  • Fisher Sand & Gravel Co., DBA Fisher Industries of Tempe, AZ
  • Texas Sterling Construction Co. of Houston, TX
  • W.G. Yates & Sons Construction Company of Philadelphia, MS
The prototypes will feature characteristics such as reinforced concrete and heights between 18 and 30 feet. They have been “designed to deter illegal crossings in the area in which they are constructed,” according to a CBP press release.

“The concrete border wall prototypes will allow CBP to evaluate the potential for new wall and barrier designs that could complement the wall and barrier designs we have used along the border over the last several years,” according the a CBP release on wall prototype construction. “As the border security environment continues to evolve, CBP will continually refresh its own inventory of tools to meet that evolution.”

Vitiello discussed the prototypes to be built in the San Diego area. He stated that the wall will complement the other tools that are used to “detect and deter” illegal crossings into the United States.

Construction of the prototypes is to be completed within 30 days of the order for the construction, which Vitiello indicated could come in the next couple of weeks. Prototypes are designed to be concrete, 30 feet long, and up to 30 feet high. They will be in close proximity to each other. There will be testing of aspects of the walls including aesthetics and anti-climb features. There will be 30-60 days of evaluation of the prototypes.

A CBP release referenced President Donald Trump’s executive order Border Security and Immigration Enforcement Improvements, which required the Department of Homeland Security to “immediately plan, design and construct a physical wall along the southern border, using appropriate materials and technology to most effectively achieve complete operational control of the southern border.”

“The prototypes will inform future design standards, which will likely continue to evolve to meet the U.S. Border Patrol’s requirements,” according to the CBP release.

Four additional prototypes will be built for “other than concrete” wall designs and contractors for those are yet to be announced. http://www.breitbart.com/big-govern...-border-wall-prototype-contractors-announced/

1. I'm all for a wall.
2. Unless I have to pay for it.
3 Trump said I wouldn't have to pay for it.

He either lied or he lied.

Border Wall Prototype Construction Begins

The construction of President Donald Trump’s promised prototype border wall began on Tuesday. Six companies that won the competitive bidding process will begin testing various types of walls.
The companies will begin building eight test sections of wall on Tuesday, Fox News Insider reported.

“Today is the day the dirt actually moves,” Fox’s Adam Housley reported from the area. He said it will take about a week or two before anything significant is constructed.

Just a few weeks ago, the finalists were announced by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Breitbart News’ Michelle Moons reported in August.

The companies selected to build the eight prototypes were:

  • Caddell Construction Co. (DE), LLC of Montgomery, AL
  • Fisher Sand & Gravel Co., DBA Fisher Industries of Tempe, AZ
  • Texas Sterling Construction Co. of Houston, TX
  • W.G. Yates & Sons Construction Company of Philadelphia, MS
“The concrete border wall prototypes will allow CBP to evaluate the potential for new wall and barrier designs that could complement the wall and barrier designs we have used along the border over the last several years,” CBP officials stated. “As the border security environment continues to evolve, CBP will continually refresh its own inventory of tools to meet that evolution.”

In June, one contractor produced a video showing a prototype of the wall, Breitbart Texas reported.

The prototypes will be built in the San Diego Sector in southern California.

In anticipation of the construction start, San Diego police officers and sheriff’s deputies placed “No Parking” signs along the roads and streets near the border, the Los Angeles Times reported. The ban went into effect on Tuesday and extends until November 10 in the county and November 1 in the city.

Officials are working on establishing a “free-speech zone,” where protesters will be allowed to express their opinions.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection and San Diego Sheriff’s Department vehicles could be seen driving in the area on Monday in advance of the construction startup.
