financial stress for cancer patients

My wife buys chicken feed but they go around eating crickets and bugs in the yard. Probably worms too.

As far as pigs, I know some people that raise pigs and I could probably start breeding pigs also if I bartered with them to get a male and female pig.

So what happens if you dont have chickens already and dont have much of value to barter for livestock? You just go die?

What's median income now?

If your paying under 10k for cancer treatment that's probably a fair price considering the price for the drugs.

I'm not complaining about the price, but how it ends up getting paid.

No. I said the people that I know on foodstamps are either disabled or druggies - perhaps you don't understand the difference in those 2 statements.

But, I should ammendment that. After thinking about it I also know 2 sets of grandparents raising grandkids and 3 foster families that get snap.

In rural America your neighbors give you a couple to get started.

No you were trying to make a snide remark because you think less of foodstamp users based on your limited anecdotal experience. Any response to the fact that rural areas use foodstamps at a higher rate than urban areas?

I understand. My wife is currently battling cancer - luckily I only pay 3500 out of pocket plus my share of the insurance premiums.

You are way off base. It just so happens that my old home town was nicknamed pillville. I've buried family and friends that have ODed and work with kids from broken homes through my church. My cousin gets foodstamps- he's hooked on painkillers. My wife's sister get them-her and her boyfriend are strung out on what ever they can find.

I said I'd like to see the stats, you showed them. Not sure what comment I'm supposed to make. You're the one that used a 3% difference to pigeon hole rural America.

3%? 73% of eligible people in cities using it vs 86% in rural areas is not 3% unless you failed at math. Have we established rural america is more dependent than urban america on food stamps?

2 of those are messed up, not sure why you included the guy shot trying to come through the front door.

Should I now post random articles from Detroit, Chicago, and Baltimore?

Your article said 10.?% In cities on foodstamps vs 14.1% in rural areas. The article also seemed to want to differentiate between big cities and small cities (13.?%).

My bad that wasnt from your article, it was the one I Google after my initial post.

The case is nuanced but at the end, it shows the stand your ground principle that rural homeowners have which compels them to shoot on sight anyone near their property. I am not saying he was wrong, but articles like that do not inspire a happy image of rural america. And you can if you want, but I'm not the one claiming urban folk look out for each other.

Yea I'm having a baby and I'm just now realizing how bad Obama care fucked with my companies health plans. I have to spend like $3,000 before they've even start covering anything.

Who is gonna pay for it then? Are you gonna take more money out of the pockets of hard working middle class people who are trying to raise their kids, pay for their home and lives also?

Or tax the hyper rich and corporations at sensible rates, the opposite of the Republican platform.......

We need a way to make it cheaper before we figure out who is going to pay for it

There is no way to divide it to make it affordable for everyone

The republican platform is to lower taxes for everyone. Weird how people act like that's only for the rich

Also what's a sensible rate? Corporate tax in the US is already very high and driving companies out

You guys have to pay for babies being pushed out?

That's about as natural an act as breathing. Or taking a shit.

What a fucking disgraceful country.

USA sucks

You pay for a team of nurses and doctors to help deliver the baby. You can push it out at home I guess if you wanted

Breathing and shitting dont need a team of highly trained specialists to help you for hours

Your post sucks
