Fighters who people call Legends, but you think aren’t.

He's in the same category as Hume. They birthed a future generation that became champions. That is the weird thing about MMA; there isn't a strong pedigree. A lot of the older guys don't train the up and comers. I am not sure if it is because their methods are "old" and invalid or they just don't do it.

Someone who is almost mystical. Had an epic career with many accomplishments, had their own signature style or way of fighting.

Almost mystical. Very vague but perhaps you mean a fighter that inspires awe. So basically how you feel about a fighter. Terrible metric.

Epic Career even more vague. Do you just mean a long career.

Accomplishments for sure are important.

Signature style or way of fighting more vague nonsense.

So one criteria is accomplishments. The rest is just a colurful way of saying if you like a fighter you can justify them being a legend even if their accomplishments don't stand up

Eh give them the legend moniker. These folks fought for the love of fighting in bingo halls and indian casinos. They didn't do it to get "paid" and birth a generation of champion fighters afterwards.

Some brazil fighter called Joe Benevidez out the other night and referred to him as a 'legend of the sport'.

I lol'd

Noobs really thik MMA is like a decade old? WTF? Don't you even google that shit anymore? Try 648 BC dumbass. So yea you can have legends in a sport that is over 2000 years old. Think Arrhichion (Ἀρριχίων) of Phigalia the first MMA legend.

I'm not surprised dumb motherfuckers.

Sounds like a troll thread to diss legends... Ya fukkk
