No, the idea of boxing being a "job" and a rather lucrative one is the point. Before the fight, the narrative was that Conor will defeat Mayweather in stunning fashion. After the fight there was a 180, and Conor was never expected to win because he was a 0-0 amateur, AND who cares about boxing anyways because Conor would beat Floyd in a streetfight. Get it?

Haha.. yea they changed that narrative very fast from 49-1 to well he did well what do you expect he went into it 0-0.

No more, deadly left hand, no more younger, no more bigger, no more stronger, no more he too old, no more brittle hands, no more YES smaller gloves, no more easier weight scale, no more but he was boxing since he was young that is his base in fighting his not a novice to boxing, etc etc etc.. pure bullshit.

Reality is Floyd rope-a-dope his ass and didn't even need to box his usual style of defense boxing nope just walk the inferior fighter down and get a stoppage cause it's been a while.

Cody garbrandt and conor mcgregor started as boxers and mainly use boxing in mma amd theyre doing just fine.
Most mma fighters suck at striking defense so any fecent boxer has great success in the stand up.
